After watching a live tv show re the Obama care....
people need to know the truth about the whole idea and package it represents.
DOCTORS ARE LEAVING AND GIVING UP THEIR PRACTICES......FROM ALL SPECIALTIES...
THIS WAS PASSED WITHOUT MEDICAL REPRESENTATION ....AS IS EVERYTHING ELSE FROM THIS ADMIN
Who lives or dies will be like CLASS CLEANSING....rich will live poor will die ...there is no middle class
So before you select your choice....think long and hard....maybe a different party choice won't be so bad after all.....
AND talking to the medical profession.....they are upset....because Congress makes more money than they do and not
even knowledgable to make medical decisions......THEY ARE LAWYERS.....NOT DOCTORS....
So the question is who put this package together and who will be making the money
Time to question this before the election and get the real facts....not just what is stated by the media because this is not a party issue\\
it involves all Americans......
What do you suggest, vote for the architect of RomneyCare? Don't you get it yet? There are no choices. The candidates selected for the American citizens are members of the oligarchy.
The election is nothing more than a show...A show that is designed to pacify the masses while the oligarchy continues to acquire wealth and power.
These people don't care about the middle and lower class, they just needed to design a system that kept us healthy enough to run their businesses, yet not a burden to them financially when we are no longer productive. Their solution - mandate the 18 - 26 year old healthy young adults to pay for the sick and aging by forcing them to pay into a system they will not use. The wealthy oligarchs that run this country were not going to use business profits to pay health care costs for those that are sick and no longer productive. Instead they passed those costs onto the healthy young adults.
Obamacare was designed to protect corporations from shouldering the costs of the aging baby boomer population. They instead passed the costs on to the young working class.
The nice thing is that the government will pay for all abortions once they take over HC. The bad thing is that it will take 10 months to schedule one.
"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."
They're selling' the FEAR... And there're selling' the misinformation...
Cause that's all they have left.

Before you start panicking, and listening to all these "unbiased" "sources... READ THIS:
I tried to find a somewhat unbiased rundown, so that no matter what your thoughts on Romneycare are, at least you'll have some basic facts.
I'm not panicking...It really doesn't matter too much about the details of the law. The fact that the law MANDATES individuals purchase health insurance or be fined is really a philosophical disagreement. That is not the mention all the regulations and mandates on the industry as a whole.
For those that look at $15 trillion in federal debt, a $1 trillion annual federal budget deficit, the 31 states running budget deficits, and Medicare and Social Security insolvency as an example of well managed government social programs and their argument for why we need more...There is nothing I can say that will convince those authoritarian that it will be an epic failure filled with fraud and corruption. There in no sense arguing this on the premise of personal liberty, these people already are not concerned with their personal liberty. They are also not concerned with the FACTS of financial mismanagement of previous programs.
Seriously? We haven't had the personal liberty you speak of in quite some time, and if you think we're not socialists, think again.
"The fact that the law MANDATES individuals purchase health insurance or be fined is really a philosophical disagreement."
I'm forced to purchase things I don't agree with all the time. For example, I was forced to pay for YOUR (not mine) education, or lose my house.
I'm in agreement...I never said I agreed with the current social system...I disagree with the the socialism claim, though there are some services socialized like education, I think the real power is with the fascist relationships between government and corporation. Especially the corporate banking and insurance industries.
I don't want to pay for your education, I don't want you to pay for mine. I don't want to pay for your health care, I don't want you to pay for mine. I don't want you to be FORCED to purchase anything for me. I'm sure like most good human beings, you would voluntarily contribute to charitable organizations that care for the sick and indigent.
Like I said a few posts earlier, imo, it is beginning to fail.

Well if it was on TV... It must be True!

And I agree. Fact is though, EVERYBODY is going to need health care at some point. If they have no insurance, and haven't been seeing doctors on a somewhat regular basis, that health care is going to be at the emergency room, where it's grossly more expensive. THAT is the cost that is being passed on to us that we should be concerned about, not the malpractice insurance farce. I would rather pay for their blood pressure meds, than pay for their heart attack.
Do you really think that it's fair for someone who's never paid into the system should have a $10,000 doctor bill paid for, after having sent in a single check for $300, only just last week.?
As was stated in my link, the mandate was pretty much a trade off for the pre-existing conditions clause.
Now, this begs the question, do you, yourself, at this minute have any type of health coverage?

Not EVERYBODY is going to need heath care. People die suddenly or accidentally before ever receiving health care. Not only is everybody NOT going to need health care, of the ones that do, there is going to be a HUGE variation of degrees which individuals will use it. Many people will just need a doctor for a prescription for an antibiotic for a sinus infection once every few years, others will go to the doctor for every little blemish or sniffle.
So, is it fair that two people pay the same amount into the system, and one person uses the system much more frequently than the other?
As for my ownership of insurance, I will answer yes, I own it. One reason is because that is the way the modern health care system is set up, there is so much money in the system from the private 3rd party payers and government Medicare, that it distorts the market value of health care to the point where the only way you can afford it is through third party payer. If you remove the 3rd party payer, the markets would adjust to the actual value based on the demand. The money(Billions$) being held by the 3rd party payers creates a false demand and inflates costs.
Same question for you Tommy, when you were between the ages of 18 and 26, did you own health insurance?

First, yes I did have insurance. I was working for the state for a few years, and after that, I started my own company, and I, and all ( employees all were covered. We were doing dangerous stuff like rigging, and pyrotechnics, so it was quite necessary, and also required by the company holding our liability policy.
As to people who only see the doctor for the occasional prescription, yes, that's what I was advocating. Timely prescribed antibiotics, or high blood pressure meds, can save you from a MASSIVE medical bill further on down the road, and who gets to pay for that massive bill? You and me. Yes, it's absolutely true that some people go to the doctor for every little sniffle, but it's alot cheaper to go to a doctor, than an emergency room, which is what many of them are doing now.
There can be no dispute that those of us that use the system sparingly, are paying dearly for those that are needlessly hogging it, but that's what we are doing right now, whether people realize it or not.
The new plan is just an attempt to rein in those costs that are being passed along to all of us.

I disagree and agree. If the healthy people that use the system sparingly and a large percentage of 18 - 26 year olds are not using the system at all and are paying for the hogs - how does mandating they purchase health insurance save money? They are now paying the taxes they've been paying to compensate for the "hogs", AND NOW paying for health insurance they most likely will not use. So when you say it is cheaper, you have to specify for WHO. Since a large percentage of the 18 - 26 year olds are not going to need costly medical care, the capital they are spending on health insurance that they most likely will not use, could be spent on education, housing, or even the opportunity to start up a business that involves rigging pyrotechnics.
Obamacare is a backstop for the failed Social Security and Medicare system. It is the boomer generation that needs this forced participation of the young, healthy and productive. How else are we going to pay for them? God knows, we are not allowed to mandate the most selfish generation to use their savings to pay for health care.
It is funny how the young and healthy that don't want to purchase health insurance are the "Freeloaders", but a whole generation that consumed in excess their entire lives, having two cars, a home and a vacation home, a boat, a jet ski, are the responsible ones. As they plunder their children's money, and leave them with TRILLIONS IN DEBT.
And we wonder why Ron Paul's message is popular with the youth. He's letting us know, the boomers are about to bend us over.
when you were between the ages of 18 and 26, did you own health insurance?
