Just call me Mr Shackleford. Yes, my real last name.

Or is it?

Too much information.

What does the former dem town party chairman even have to do with this discussion?

The fact that he raped the property owners in town by not taking care of the equipment and buildings he was responsible for

Maybe if he wasnt trying to screw everyone but you in the a$$ the largest water district in town would not be without water pressure and would have a second/backup water main by now

You didn't specify which former chairman that you were speaking about.  Now that your clarified your rant, I suggest that you take get a good night's sleep and maybe you will be in a better mood in the morning.

Quite frankly, the watering ban is just a minor annoyance or inconvenience.  It isn't a matter of life or death.  There are folks in the world who are literally dying for a cup of clean drinking water each day and -yet - you folks are all bent out of shape because you can't water your lawns for a few days.

Take a deep breath and breath in positive thoughts and constructive energy -- exhale and let out your negative thoughts and destructive energy.  Then, You'll be happier and enjoy life more.

Especially for the 20 or so people that I have seen for the past couple of days that are watering by the dark of night, so that the code enforcer or the police won't bother them while they sit on their assets.

Guess you are watering your two mommies' lawn in the middle of the night, huh?   Peeking out a window to keep an eye out for the cops or code people - you'll won't be able to climb those basement stairs fast enough to turn it off

And their are folks in Schenectady city who would love to be able to pay their taxes to continue to live in a house they've lived in for a long time, yet you get all bent out of shape when we complain about the dems making the financially struggling Schenectady homeowners pay the taxes of the downtown millionaires and politically connected..

Again, spoken from someone who REFUSES to make an investment in the so called renaissance and move INTO the city.   Such a hypocrite---just like he is aupposedly is Catholic yet he REFUSES to tell us if Jesus would want the financially struggling poor in the city of Schenectady to pay the taxes of the downtown rich.

Talking about taking deep breaths.    Obviously he's doing a lot of heavy breathing online at 2 in the morning---when his two mommies don't see the sites he's going to.  Must be he's not concerned about lack of water, he's probably very wet at 2 in the morning online.

Optimists close their eyes and pretend problems are non existent.
Better to have open eyes, see the truths, acknowledge the negatives, and
speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies.

You like to accuse others (municipal employees, police, etc) of "sitting on their asses" -- yet you are "sitting on your a**" by not reporting the offenders when you see them.  So stop complaining and attacking others, do YOUR DUTY as a citizen to report the 20 or so people that you have seen watering by the dark of the night.

Had to drive thru rottendam yesterday................every lawn we saw was 'burnt to a crisip'. So perhaps some folks are still watering, but not the ones we saw!

Most people are not watering their lawns and are only watering their flowers and gardens.

Really

Not my job - I help fund nearly 5 million dollars to a police department in podonk Rotterdam NY

For 5 million dollars you would think they would stop and issue a warning or citation

For 5 million the best we get is a drive by as they choose to be toooooooo busy to stop

And for this we are expected to pay 100k in pension to recent retirees and more are looking for the same

The problem is that some of them would have to report THEMSELVES as doing it.
