If the Dems wanted to help the middle class then how come all the stimulus money went to banks, green energy friends of Obama, and now the truth comes out that Obamacare is nothing but a giant tax on the middle class. A lesson in irony.
The Food Stamp Program, administered by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, is proud to be distributing the greatest amount of free meals and food stamps ever.
Meanwhile, the National Park Service, administered by the U.S. Department of the Interior, asks us to "Please Do Not Feed the Animals."
Their stated reason for the policy is because the animals will grow dependent on handouts and will not learn to take care of themselves.

The American Jobs Act never became law, however, because Republicans Party Of NO opposed it from the start, blasting it as another form of “failed stimulus” that wouldn’t help the economy.

Welcome to 1990's Japan on steroids... We are better off just spending on unemployment, welfare and TARGETED (read emerging industries) stimulus. Using birdshot mentality with stimulus will just make things worse. The only people in power pushing big stimulus are worried about THEIR jobs.

there were no checks, balances, or accountability... All the Stimulus did was kick the can down the road. We increased our debt, and now they are talking about more Stimulus because the money has run out, It's like trying to start a lawnmower by pouring gas down the spark plug hole. If there is no gas in the tank, the engine will run for a while and stall....except the gas we poured down the plug hole was not paid for with borrowed money.

US auto workers (over a million of them) are now paying taxes in the USA. They aren't on Welfare... they are paying their bills and stimulating the economy every day.
Had Obama not saved them (as Romney would have done) many of them would be on welfare now, draining the system, instead of working feeding their families and helping the economy grow.
Consider today's unemployment and economic stability if we suddenly dropped one million more unemployed to drain what's left of the system.
The US economy was in free fall... until the stimulus... and has been slowly recovering ever since.
