I think you are mixing stories...This thread is about the blood thirsty knife wielding boyfriend Jason Martin, the fugitive on the run from police helicopters. You linked to Latisha Mason, the women that died in the Schenectady County Jail. Unless I'm missing another point you are trying to make.

I was merely pointing out that Ellis Psych center isn't doing the best job for the county - letting people out without a full evaluation and treatment plan, resulting in their death on that particular occasion.
If this man was so dangerous and caused this alll to happen.....then why the hell give him bail........
He didn't cause all this to happen...The police overreacted...I hope the TU continues to follow this story to see how many of the charges he is actually convicted of.

SCOTIA — The man wanted in connection with a domestic incident that launched a manhunt and forced the lock down of three Scotia-Glenville schools Tuesday turned himself into police Friday afternoon.
Jason S. Martin, 28, of Schenectady was charged with first-degree reckless endangerment, first-degree unlawful imprisonment and second-degree menacing, a misdemeanor, Scotia police said.
Village police issued a warrant for Martin's arrest Tuesday after he allegedly threatened his girlfriend with a knife at 108 Seely St., police said. Martin then fled the home before police arrived and evaded a search that included the use of a State Police helicopter, according to reports.
The incident occurred near Scotia-Glenville High School, Middle School and Sacandaga Elementary School, prompting all three to lock their doors.
He was arraigned in village court and sent to Schenectady County Jail in lieu of $15,000 bail, police said.
