Minden Supervisor Thomas L. Quackenbush, chairman of the Board of Supervisors, abstained from the vote. He is the business agent for the Teamsters, the same union that represents the corrections officers.

So let me summarize this thread:

Quackenbush is a disappointment to conservatives. Then WHAT is A-Jello???

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

I'm not disappointed.  It is par for the course for the New York State Republican Party.  I'm sure the party did some polling and decided that he is politically appealing in the district he is running in.  A teamster agent representing municipal employees is probably a winning formula in this area.  His credentials may keep me on the sidelines, but he can probably deliver those unionized government workers.  After all, it's all about winning.

Exactly! The CONS had no where else to go. They are never going to support A-Jello who stabbed them in the back. Hope the Quack picks up every line. Anyone But A-Jello.

I see the lively chatter continues...

I received a copy of this letter in the mail earlier last month....no return address of course....and the mailing label was printed on a piece of paper, sloppily cut out and taped to the envelope. Do they really think I don't know this came from Angelo's sympathizers??? That
this is just an attempt to wrench an authorization from our State Chairman??? And BTW, the "author", Joe Mastroianni, is a close and
personal friend of Angelo (maybe a relative, I don't recall which it was for sure)...surprise!

The interesting part is this...

Angelo and his gumba gang have been circulating Conservative Party DESIGNATING petitions for Angelo. Now the Angelo I know is full of himself and in his mind, he believes he will secure an authorization that he knows is rarely granted to Demokratz by the STATE Party....
extremely rare...but I am hearing that this has become a possibility....created by the usual backstabbing of Republicans, courtesy of the
local "leaders" of the Conservative Party. After all, Angelo is a Demokrat now, and we all know how much Hamilton et al love those.

Meanwhile Quackenbush is the latest victim of their usual scheme of misleading Republicans into believing they are supporting them,
only to find out at the eleventh hour they've been stiffed...they do not produce the petition signatures they promise...thus putting
their ballots in jeopardy, on purpose of course. They tried to do it to Bob Dietrich in the National petition phase back in April...but that
staff was wise enough to heed the warnings about this, and he got his signatures because they did not rely on Hamilton for them.

Peter Guidarelli must be frustrated by now...I told him his buddies would not support his candidate Quackenbush...he insisted
they would...that they would not support Angelo after what he did to their buddy George Amedore...I guess their close pal Peter will
also learn the hard way...maybe...none of them ever seem to grasp this well demonstrated fact.

This should be a surprise to no one. NYS is blue as blue can be!! Why? Clearly due to the lack of oxygen to supply the brain!!!!

Those who support and/or turn 'blue' is doing so due to lack of oxygen!

NYS is on life support!!!

Quackenbush will be the new Assemblyman. A-Jello is hardly a CONS even by Schenectady County standards. He has voted for every new tax increase including the Taj Mahal County Home that both Holly Vellano and Jim Buhrmaster tried to stop. If A-Jello wants to waste time seeking another line so be it. Assembly seats will stay all REP just like the State Senate.

He is saying that Sheldon Silver doesn't need another puppet to pound nails into New York taxpayer's coffins.

We all wanted to marry super models when we were 17 (except DV- he wanted to marry Tom Cruise) and as we realized that life wasn't perfect, we decided that we needed to make choices based upon what was best given the situation. Hence we married the girl's next door and accepted they didn't all look like Cindy Crawford when they woke up in the morning! So as we vote, we often hold our nose and pick one knowing the other stinks worse. That is reality.

yet when presented with many different choices the DEM, REP, CON  committee members continue offer up the SH!T

and the committee members are chosen by a few enlightened party members who are told of the process that occurs on primary day

provided you knew enough to circulate a petition in the months of june and july

anyone remember being taught this part of the election process in school?  - this is the party's dirty little secret

i dont remember burning a big fattie that day on the bus but who knows

the political parties like stupid voters  -it makes it easy to offer up such great choices like the Quack vs A-Jello
