According to government lawyers familiar with a Milwaukee criminal corruption probe, Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker is now a "target" of the investigation.
The legal sources, who are not involved in Wisconsin's recall, spoke on condition of anonymity. They said Walker faces "serious legal challenges," including "a possible indictment," regardless of the election results on Tuesday.

It's not just about Walker, San Diego and San Jose just voted to strip the public sector unions of their outrageous pension benefits too. It's only just begun, this movement to put public sector unions in line with the private sector unions will sweep the country and any cities and states which fail to trim the excessive benefits will go bankrupt.

MILWAUKEE, Wis. — Republican Gov. Scott Walker’s successful battle to keep his job during this week’s Wisconsin recall election got a lift from an unexpected quarter — voters from union households. Concerning the June 6 Page One story that you buried on Page Four: “Wisconsin governor survives recall challenge”: May I suggest a more descriptive headline? How about “Scott Walker beats the tar out of union thugs and corrupt Democratic Party?” (With their vote of 115 percent of the registered electorate of Madison, Wis.) It would have been nice if you mentioned the vote (remember how every vote counts?). For the record, it was an overwhelming 53 percent to 46 percent. I am so surprised that the Associated Press (and their Schenectady puppet) chose to downplay this historic event!

Re June 6 AP article, “Wisconsin governor survives recall challenge”: I am not singing in a small choir when I say that I was severely disappointed (as many other subscribers were) that we did not see Gov. Scott Walker on the front page of your newspaper. He was not on the second page, nor the third, but on the fourth page. I know that news happens at lightning speed and the newspaper has to “fi t the pieces,” if you will, of the articles that are written, but it is a disgrace that history was made on June 6 by Gov. Scott Walker being the first governor ever to win a recall election and that it was not published on the front page of one of our local newspapers. When we lay off young people so we can pay for pensions and benefits for retirees, that’s a problem. That’s a big problem. Collectively, in all cities, pensions going to teachers, policemen, firemen and state workers are killing America. Thank you, Scott Walker, for setting the precedent for not sucking up to the unions. Hopefully other states will follow so this nation will once again thrive with the help of a leader like you.
