These types of issues are going deeper and deeper into Rotterdam.  Where is our police presence?

Maybe these people have WMDs as well.

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

The RPD night shift has what appears to be a 12 year old kid covering the neighborhood.

He can't be hanging out at Hess all night and patrolling your street as well.

Meanwhile, here is how it works. If you want to keep valuables in your vehicle, buy an alarm.

Otherwise use the other method where you report the breakins and the cops say ok, we'll do what we can.

But there really isn't anything they can do. Your personal and personal property protection are your responsibility.

Stop demanding that the government nanny you.

Well of course it says that. And they mean it too.

They just don't say they will do it before it happens.

They will give you a report of the incident to turn in to the insurance company.

Hess gets more than impartial treatment.

It's the renaissance!

Optimists close their eyes and pretend problems are non existent.
Better to have open eyes, see the truths, acknowledge the negatives, and
speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies.

Not "demanding" that the "government" nanny me.  What I'm demanding is that the people who get paid out of MY paycheck actually do the work that I pay them for, and that means that if I call due to the fact that my car was broken into, I expect that they will use every ounce of their power to find out who the culprit is, apprehend them, and prosecute to the fullest extent of the law.  Unless, that is, the criminals are on the "friends and family" plan.

The cops ARE the conservative party that supports and promotes the democratic party and helps them get elected! And what rotterdam is experiencing is the results of the combined, working together, democons. No different than the city. So in essence....the copservatives have helped create this mess!!

They are here and being paid to protect and serve their own interests as proven. Don't expect much more from them!

First thing the cop will tell you is if you keep valuables in your car you should buy an alarm.

Actually that is the second thing he will tell you.

The first thing is, "don't leave valuables in your car."

A incident report is the only result that you will get.

Even if someone gets arrested with stolen goods, you will never get the items back. They are evidence.

Of course you are going to start ranting about procedures and other nonsense.

The fact remains that very seldom is something ever returned.

Never ever keep anything of any value, not even small change, in plain sight in your car.

I was once doing a show in NYC, and had to park my truck overnight.
Inside, was scads of pro audio equipment ($40k in rented high end microphones alone), and when I went to the truck the next morning, the door had been pried open.
I nearly had a heart attack until I looked under the tarps. Not a single thing was missing.
What did they take when they broke in? A pack of Marlboros I left on the seat.
