The government isn't allowed by law to listen to the church.
The church is failing to stop abortion through their own teachings.
The government can not, and must not, favor one religion.
If the church did their jobs correctly, no Christians would be having abortions, or serving in the military.

Since there is no Official Church or Religion in the USA, I am glad that any of our Presidents DO NOT listen to church leaders on matters of "faith or morality".
In the USA, your faith is your business and not any concern of the Government. Morality is also a personal value... not something for our government to dictate to it's citizens.
If a US Citizen is against abortion, they should never be forced to have one against their will. Other than that, it's a decision best made by the pregnant woman with the advice of her doctor.

Actually, it wouldn't be against the Constitution for the President to be born in Kenya. In fact, he could have been born anywhere. The fact is that there are people who are born in the USA who actually believe that they are American citizens when in fact they aren't. There are also others who are born in foreign countries who ARE American citizens. People just can't understand the way the laws and the way that the Constitution and the Amendments to it are written. Personally, I would like to see a couple generations of genealogy, birth certificates, etc. on ALL who wish to become President, the current President included. 2008 - Person who couldn't prove he was born in Hawaii wins election over a person who COULD prove he was born in Panama, but had proof that he was an actual citizen.
But as we ALL KNOW, President Barack Hussein Obama was born in Hawaii. Everything else is just more of the GOP Birthers looking for attention.
