Going Too Far?: Police Handcuff 6-Year-Old for Temper Tantrum

The family of a Georgia kindergartener says police went too far in restraining their child following a temper tantrum during school. Police were called to restrain the Milledgeville, Ga. six-year-old after she began ripping pictures off of the walls and knocked over a book case during the tantrum; she was handcuffed, taken by cop car to the local station, and charged with assault and damage to property.

it's the same in medicine....DONT' TOUCH OR SOMEONE WILL GO AFTER YOU.....and families sit idly by watching and expecting the 'experts' to act on their loved ones...

it's a lawyers dream out there....we've all been brainwashed into thinking the other guy is the expert which removes from a person their ability to 'make effort' hence
making the 'expert' the target and we allow the government to tell us we are wrong....

"abuse" laws and threats of lawsuits basically have teachers/administrators hands tied.

then, the parents refuse to take responsibility.

Ah, the good old days, when the teacher rapped your knuckles, then made you carry a note home (and you DID) - only to have dad whip out the belt, or mom with the wooden spoon.  Just thinking about it brings welts to my skin.

Wait - why is a 6yr old in Kindergarten?

I certainly would never second guess the wonderful young men and women who proudly wear the badge.... Once again the Nattering Nayboobs ATTACK law enforcement instead of SUPPORTING them.

compulsory is 6years old....most parents cant wait to get the kids out.....
