Subject - Catholic bashing.

As one brought up in the bosom of the Catholic Church I have been critical of the church.  Not the churches right to exist but the hypocrisy.

I play the blog game, sometimes serious & mostly as a provocateur.  I prefer running with the fox than the hounds.

The feedback I get or general commentary on issues of The 'Church/God' indicate to me there is a bias against Catholics in the Capital District.  God & Church get the same vitriol.  The Church haters have confused God & Church in their minds.  Some Church officials make this error also but they are blinded by the light.  I use to think it was the crank, pro life nut cases babbling on about anti Catholic bias.  They are still nut cases but they were right about the bias.  The broken clock being correct twice every 24 hour cycle.

The pro choice nut cases are even farther off the Richter scale of life.

Karl Strock, the Daily Gazette's (Schenectady Gazette) answers the following question;  Did Karl Marx reincarnate yet?  Yes, he is Karl Strock.

The Capital District has been long 'ruled' by the Holy Roman Catholic Church, the Albany Dioceses of the Catholic Church.  Her enemies are legion.  Catholics, Christians, Jews, those believing in something good beyond this life better take stock (not Strock) of the anti-God, anti- Christ impulse rising in America.

For the Church haters who see God & Church as the same, there is hope for you.  The void in your heart may yet be filled with love.  As for Karl, Marx & Strock, what he is full of I can not put in a letter.

Wow, that's the most logical, coherent post from you in a LONG time.

Nicely said.

Carl Strock couldn't get a job writing for a REAL newspaper -- so he went to work for the Daily Gazette.  It has been quite sometime since the city has had a REAL newspaper.

While I don't agree with everything Strock writes, he does get to the bottom of things that government likes to hide.

Like remember that Schenectady CITY cop Marchinkowski who was involved in an accident in Niskayuna and he had been drinking but the boys in blue in Nisky didn't bother to charge him, didn't even do a test.   But it was Strock who got the info out from getting records about his blood test when Marcinkowski was treated at the hospital.

Yeah, that was before HIPPA.   When it comes to police who are to enforce the law, when they are found to be DWI, that IS the taxpayers' business

.

Optimists close their eyes and pretend problems are non existent.
Better to have open eyes, see the truths, acknowledge the negatives, and
speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies.

Glad to see you agree with the consensus that the DG is not a "real" news source.

GREAT POST IraRotterdam!!!!

And instead of a separation of church and state....there should, in some cases, be a separation of church and God! I'm sure God isn't smiling down on every church that speaks in His name!
