Most Americans still blame George W Bush for the economy... Of course they do!
A Gallup poll released this week finds 68% of Americans place a great deal or moderate amount of blame on former President George W. Bush for the nation's economic problems. 52% of Americans place some of the blame on President Obama.
The number of Americans blaming W for the 'Bush Economic Meltdown' has remained stable over the last two years."

34% of Americans say President Obama's policies contributed significantly to the economic downturn, another 30% say they contributed to some degree while 35% say the president's policies contributed little or not at all to the downturn.
Nearly half say Bush's policies played a significant role in creating the nation's current economic problems. Another 33% say they played some role. Only 18% say Bush's policies had little to no impact.
