The modern conservative is engaged in one of man's oldest exercises in moral
philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.

Wow!  100,000 public employee union members are going to protest.  Must be nice having all that paid time off.  Isn't it convenient that it is being held April 9 - 15 when many public schools are on break.

An Egypt-styled “Arab Spring,” which has put radicals in charge of the government, will be launched in the United States this spring with a war on “corporate power, Wall Street greed and the political corruption of the 1 percent,” according to the group headed by former Obama green aide Van Jones.

“They’re really not going to like the 99 percent Spring,” said Rebuild the Dream in an organizing email Friday.

Comparing the collection of protests last year that are symbolized by the 99 percent campaign and Occupy movement, to those of Gandhi and Martin Luther King Jr., the group said that “we were all inspired by the protesters of the Arab Spring who stood up to totalitarian governments, and inspired the Occupy movement here in America.”

The plan for now is to hold protest training sessions around the nation next week. Over 900 are scheduled so far.

Once ready, the group and dozens of others, notably MoveOn.org and labor unions, will launch the “99 Percent Spring” offensive against government and financial centers.

“We're at a crossroads as a country. In recent years, millions have lost their jobs, homes have been foreclosed, and an unconscionable number of children live in poverty. We have to stand up to the people who caused of all this and confront the rampant greed and deliberate manipulation of our democracy and our economy by a tiny minority in the 1%,” said Caroline Murray, of Rebuild the Dream Innovation Fund, in the organizing email.

99% Spring Action Training

We're at a crossroads as a country. In recent years, millions have lost their jobs, homes have been foreclosed, and an unconscionable number of children live in poverty. We have to stand up to the people who caused of all this and confront the rampant greed and deliberate manipulation of our democracy and our economy by a tiny minority in the 1%.

Inspired by Occupy Wall Street and the fight for workers in Madison, Wisconsin, the 99% will rise up this spring. In the span of just one week, from April 9-15, 100,000 people will be trained to tell the story of what happened to our economy, learn the history of non-violent direct action, and use that knowledge to take action on our own campaigns to win change.

We'll gather for trainings in homes, community centers, places of worship, campuses, and public spaces nationwide to learn how to join together in the work of reclaiming our country through sustained non-violent action.

Will you rise with us and join a 99% Spring action training?.....................>>>>.................>>>>.............http://civic.moveon.org/event/events/index.html?action_id=268&rc=homepage?rc=homepage.sidebar

Occupy has lost the microphone, their 15 minutes are up. They had a chance last summer, but were quickly exposed as having nothing to do with the 99%. With the economy improving, unemployment inching down and created jobs moving up, there isn't much sympathy for Occupy.

I'm not saying greatly....but you can't deny the numbers are going in the right direction, and the press is the chief trumpeter. It's all about perception.

Working Americans know they are losers and bums, and are sick of them "occupying" anything.

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

The movement is becoming laughable at best.
The left over hippies need 'something'.....'anything'.....to validate their existence here on earth!!

the 'improving economy' is for $8.00/hour jobs...or a decrease in the hourly wages after one gets downsized

It is just the left over pot smokin' hippies that are injecting their nonsense from the 60's into today's society!!! They are as brainless now as they were then. The occupy movement became a laughing stock so now they will try yet another route!!! VAN JONES!!!

Talk about a left over hippie!!!

For a group that the bumbler thinks is "a laughing stock" bumble sure spends an awful lot of time and effort
Trying to convince us they are not relevant.
What is He afraid of?

Oh they are relevant, but we are going to see how relevant and how much they really 'want' it.

Communists Revolutionaries are organized, tough, fanatical, ruthless and popular with the masses

I see organized and fanatical...I don't see tough and ruthless....They are also not popular with the masses.

Concern would be a better word than fear
