FoxSnooze Not Fair & Balanced

DOVER, Del. -- During a meeting with 18 Delaware Tea Party leaders here on Wednesday, Newt Gingrich
lambasted FOX News Channel, accusing the cable network of having been in the tank for Mitt Romney
from the beginning of the Republican presidential fight. An employee himself of the news outlet as
recently as last year, he also cited former colleagues for attacking him out of what he characterized
as personal jealousy.
“I think FOX has been for Romney all the way through,” Gingrich said during the private meeting -- to
which RealClearPolitics was granted access -- at Wesley College. “In our experience, Callista and
I both believe CNN is less biased than FOX this year. We are more likely to get neutral coverage
out of CNN than we are of FOX, and we’re more likely to get distortion out of FOX. That’s just a fact.”

(Real Clear Politics)

HUH? The Newt is just finding out what the rest of us knew for years.

Not a bad job for someone who had 10 minutes to 'find' some evidence of a struggle.

No clever cartoons for this new evidence?  Maybe the picture was altered by photo shop.

NO bail for Zimmerman......he is totally wrong for not listening to stay put......

Treyvon would be alive today if he had followed orders and not be a vigilante....

He is responsible and should pay the price......he had the gun....if it was fisticuffs....it wouldn't have ended up this way....

No bail....No bail.......

How do you know he followed?  How do you know Treyvon didn't persue Zimmerman?  I know, YOU DON'T KNOW.

During a bond hearing this morning in the murder case involving George Zimmerman...

During the proceeding, prosecutors revealed some new pieces of evidence from an affidavit of Zimmerman’s
ex-girlfriend testifying that Zimmerman had attacked her.

In a sworn statement, Zimmerman's ex girlfriend says that Zimmerman “pushed her,” then slapped her with an
open hand to the mouth and “asked her how it felt.” “He picked me up and threw me on the bed” and then
“grabbed me again.”

Zimmerman subsequently filed an injunction against his ex-girlfriend claiming that
she was the aggressor in the incident.

It seems history repeats itself in this case... with both his ex girlfriend and with Martin...
Zimmerman attacks, then accuses his victims of attacking him.

Hey Box,

Why don't you follow what you had said earlier and let the COURTS decide this?

BTW, that "evidence" may never see the light of day at trial as it prejudicial and hearsay.

Or it may be allowed as evidence since it shows a pattern of violence, and a pattern of blaming the victim for
his aggression.

I'll bet you it doesn't make it in. Take a look at what they didn't let in the Casey Anthony case, and this case has already more prejudicial than that. If I were Zimmerman's attorney, I would petition immediately for a gag order as the prosecution will "leak" stuff they don't think will be let in to further taint the jury pool. The pressure on them to get a conviction is huge, they'll do anything that is not defiance of a court order.

Normally I'd agree that the prosecution would be under great pressure to get a conviction... but in this case,
they could have gone for an easy win with manslaughter rather than 2nd degree Murder.  They must have
enough evidence to be confident of a guilty on that charge.

Also... the defendant might welcome any speculation on the case in the media... the more speculation and
comments, the more likely they'd win a change of venue.

See what Alan Dershowitz thinks of the indictment
http://www.realclearpolitics.c.....e_and_unethical.html

It's absurd to think that political pressure didn't factor in the 2nd degree murder charge, especially when, unlike the Rodney King cop trial, they can compel the jury to come back with a lesser conviction.
Derhshowitz is right when he says this is what you get when you elect prosecutors and judges instead of appointing them.
