Capital Punishment is after a trial and conviction...You want lynching by the media created mob.

Again Cicero... It's Graham that brought LYNCHING into this discussion, not I.

Zimmerman should be arrested. Martin did NOT have a weapon and was not a threat to Zimmerman's life.

Zimmerman being neighborhood watch is just supposed to report suspicious activity to the police not act on it.

And what was Martin doing, was he breaking into a house or car, was he selling drugs , was he assaulting someone, NO.

He was just walking.

If anyone from neighborhood watch or the police start shooting anyone that "looks" suspicious than half of the residents of Sch'dy would be dead.

I don't know all of the facts but I think it is a case of a wanna be cop.

He should have just reported what he felt was suspicious and not followed the kid around.

If someone was following me I sure as hell would be wary.

Again, assumptions of yours not yet confirmed by an investigation. Until an investigation produces the probability of criminality, Zimmerman should remain out of Custody... I would say free, but he's not, thanks to the race-baiting hysteria, gleefully trumpeted by the press.

Here is a petition asking that Zimmerman be arrested, I signed it when it just went over 1 million sigs, now over 2 million.

http://www.change.org/petitions/prosecute-the-killer-of-our-son-17-year-old-trayvon-martin

I don't know if race had anything to do with his killing but what is important is two parents have lost their son.

What is important is this young man was not the aggressor and he was NOT armed.

I have three grown children and if one of them was shot just for the way they looked or dressed and they were not armed and the person who shot them is not locked up, I would do everything in my power to make sure they were locked up forever. And if the justice system did no do there job then I would.

Zimmerman shoots an unarmed young man.
Martin was NOT breaking into Zimmermans house or threatening him with a weapon.
That is enough for him to be locked up.

I am all for the right to bear arms, I am all for the use of such arms if someone breaks into your home, or is threatening your life or the life of a loved one.

If Zimmerman had just done his "job" and reported what he felt was suspicious and let the police follow up then this young man would be alive.

Since when is it a crime to walk down the street wearing a hoodie?

It is a crime to shoot down someone who is not a threat to your life.

I am attempting to refrain from involvement in this issue until ALL the facts are in -- bu I tend to agree with the Reverend Jackson on the broader issue of race......

You have no proof that he was not the aggressor. In fact, the Police are saying the evidence SUPPORTS Zimmerman's claim that Travvon was the aggressor after he went back to his SUV.
Thankfully, our law enforcement system is not ruled by petitions or mob rule...at least, not yet.

YOU and I do NOT know the events as they transpired. I will say Zimmerman should not have followed Travvon, or at least done in a way that just allow him to be a spotter for Police.
HOWEVER, if Zimmerman's story is true and he was attacked from behind as he was going back to his SUV, then Travvon was the aggressor. If that was the case, Zimmerman does not have xray vision to determine whether Travvon had a weapon. I wonder how steady your thinking would be after having your nose broken? Monday morning Qb'ing from 1200 miles away is very easy.

Geez, I wonder if the Rev Jackson felt the same way about the jew killed in the Crown Heights riots, you know, in Hymietown.

This is EXACTLY what "they" hoped for ... pitting brother against brother, black against white, white against black.

"They" have succeeded.  Congratulations.

One witness told police he saw Martin pounding Zimmerman on the ground. This witness was certain it was Zimmerman who was crying for help, the Sentinel reported.

When police arrived less than two minutes later, Zimmerman was bleeding from the nose, and he had a swollen lip and bloody lacerations to the back of his head, the newspaper reported. Police said Zimmerman wasn't badly injured and didn’t seek treatment until the next day.

Meanwhile, the Smoking Gun, a website that tracks criminal cases and document filings, reported Monday afternoon that Martin's mother, Sabrina Fulton, filed two applications last week for trademarks on her late son's name.

Fulton is seeking marks for the phrases "I Am Trayvon" and "Justice for Trayvon," according to filings with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. In both instances, Fulton is seeking the trademarks for use on "Digital materials, namely, CDs and DVDs featuring Trayvon Martin," and other products.

Just saying this case isn't as black and white as people paint it to be.  Noone really knows what happened.  Their is a witness who says that Trayvon did nothing wrong, and another says he beat the hell out of the guy who shot him.

I don't spell check!  Sorry...
If you include "No offense" in a statement, chances are, your statement is offensive.

Do you petition all tragic shootings that you don't agree with the outcome of the investigation?  If you are a Florida resident and don't like the law, the proper course of action is to change the law.  The investigators and DA prosecuted the law as it was written.  Rule of law means rule of law.  For a Ron Paul supporter to sign a petition to influence Florida state law tells me you aren't fully understanding of what a republic is and the purpose of Rule of Law.

Disappointed.
