In my humble opinion the valuable public servants need to have their meager pensions DOUBLED – - NOT cut….. The great State of New York will CEASE being great if we continue to treat the backbone of our society – - the Civil Servants – - in such a horrendous and niggardly fashion.. I stand WITH the Democratic Party in backing the Civil Servants in our wonderful State in the fight with the Wall Street bankers and ultra-right wing…. Furthermore – - – - raising the pensions should NOT result in a tax increase. As Jesus said “Do to others as you would have them do to you.” The terrible GOP has NEVER lived up to the Teachings or the Word….. The Democratic Party must NOT begin to walk down that same right-wing path now.. or ever.
