PUBLIC COMMENT/PRIVILEGE OF THE FLOOR
(Those members of the public wishing to address the Town Board will be asked to sign in before
the meeting is called to order on the sign-in sheets being provided. Speakers will be called to the
podium in the order of their signing in. Persons recognized by the Chair to speak during privilege
of the floor shall direct his/her comments to the Town Supervisor as Chair of the meeting.
Persons granted the privilege of the floor shall first clearly state his/her name and address for the
record. Persons so addressing the Chair through the use of a prepared written statement shall
submit a copy of the same to the Town Clerk for the purpose of maintaining clear and accurate
official minutes of the Town Board meeting.)
General Rules of Procedure for Public Hearings & Privilege of the Floor:
The purpose of a public hearing and/or privilege of the floor shall be for speakers to express their
views, thoughts and speak freely. Public hearings and privilege of the floor are not meant to
commence a dialogue with Town Board members, as Town Board will not comment as this time
which is solely for the public to be heard. Each speaker, who wishes to address the Town Board
and the public, shall have an equal and reasonable opportunity to be heard by the Town Board
and the public. Each speaker will state his/her name and address for the record. Each speaker
shall be afforded a maximum of four (4) minutes to address the Town Board and public.

99.12 Refer to the Planning Commission for report and recommendation thereon a proposed
Local Law of the Year 2012 for the following purpose:
To allow for a Change of Zone request from Frank & Anthony Gallucci
and Rose Wiggin for property located at Feuz Road and is known as Tax
Parcel No. 57.-3-16 respectively, in Rotterdam, New York. The
applicant is requesting a Change of Zone on approximately 6.3 acre
parcel from Agricultural (A-1) to Small One-Family & Townhouse
Residential District (R-4). Applicant proposes to construct fifteen (15)
townhouses.

100.12 Authorize the Comptroller to appropriate unrestricted fund balance in the
Special Lighting District #1 Fund (SL), also known as Consolidated Lighting,
to offset expenses to cover the costs of tax refunds and contractual expenses
for 2011.

101.12 Authorize the Comptroller to appropriate unrestricted fund balance in the
Special Drainage District #1 Fund (SD1), also known as Dianne Estates
Drainage Fund, to offset expenses to cover the costs of maintenance within the
district as of December 31, 2011.

102.12 Authorize the Supervisor to negotiate and execute an agreement with Public Sector HR
Consultants, LLC located at 14 Knollwood Drive, Glenville, New York 12302 for
Professional Human Resources Consulting Services and services outside the scope of
the agreement at a rate not to exceed one hundred and fifty dollars ($150.00) per hour.

103.12 Authorize the Supervisor to negotiate and execute a memorandum of agreement
(MOA) with the Rotterdam Patrolman’s Benevolent Association, Inc. (RPBA) to
resolve Public Employment Relations Board (PERB) Case No. U-31007.

The new administration is doing a great job.  No need to over analyze it.  No need to "monday-morning-quarterback" it.     We have a great team doing a great job and everyone who matters is satisfied.

Actually -- I get to decide who matters to me.   That list may differ from yours.  It has nothing to do with a "go d complex" -- unless of course you are the type of person who believes the WHOLE world must agree with you.

I don't believe the whole world should agree with me.  Never have -- in fact , it is so  much more interesting when people have different points of view.

I was hoping he'd give up the breathing thing for 40 days, but no such luck.

The sad fact is that the nayboobs who populate this website are a bunch of chronically negative complainers.  NOTHING would satisfy them.  They get their jollies tearing down and destroying other people and the community.  That is why they are worse (IMO) than terrorists.  The terrorists are at least fighting for a cause.  The nayboobs only cause is satisfying some pathological mental/emotional defect which tells them that the only way they can feel good about themselves is by insulting others, complaining and trashing-talking about their community.

Personally, I enjoy a good spirited, civil and reasonable debate on the issues.  I particularly think it is useful if the participants actually offer CONSTRUCTIVE SOLUTIONS to the problems that they raise.   If you are one of those willing to remain good-spirited, civil and reasonable along with providing constructive solutions,  I am more than happy and willing to engage in conversation with you.   If you are not - than I am under no obligation to waste my time and energy with you.
