Romney-Ryan extremist view on abortion, that opposes it even in cases of rape or incest.

The modern conservative is engaged in one of man's oldest exercises in moral
philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.

The GOP War On Women will kill American women with similar radical laws against women's health care.

-- The mother of a pregnant leukemia patient who died after her chemotherapy was delayed over
anti- abortion laws is accusing doctors of not putting her daughter's health first.
The 16-year-old's plight attracted worldwide attention after she had to wait for chemotherapy
because of an abortion ban in the Dominican Republic.

Similar laws are proposed in the USA by the Republican Party and presidential candidates Romney/Ryan.

Wow, Obama has the minions working hard on the "war on women" wedge issues.  They are trying hard to change the national debate from national issues to wedge issues.

Over 1400 Americans have died in Afghanistan since Obama took office.  That's not a problem for the lefties so concerned about civil rights and humanitarianism.

Let's talk about a war on women...

Again... a misogynist view.  The topic of war is 'worthy' of discussing in a candidate, but the topic
of abortion, birth control, women's health, and rape... are just fluff... not REALLY issues at all.

From a different thread, on a similar topic:
(It's difficult to judge some one by their posting on a message board.  If all I had to go by were his
posts on this subject, I think I'd view Cicero as a classic misogynist. )

Some women are unintelligent... others are very intelligent, and most are somewhere in between. Just like
men.

misogyny:
Hatred of women.

Yeah, I'm sure you justify your slurs for every race, religion, gender, or sexual orientation.

GOP Platform To Call For Constitutional Ban On Abortion

Draft language for the 2012 Republican Party platform includes support for a constitutional ban on abortion
without specifying exclusions in the cases of rape or incest.

This is a mute point.  It shouldn't be brought up at the federal level.  This should be a state determination, and they should be the ones deciding it.

But it IS being brought up and it IS being changed, so it IS a very valid point.

here's the deal....

accept either a gun ban or an abortion ban

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

GOP Outrage Over Akin Remarks Is About Politics Not Policy

"The calls for Todd Akin's resignation by many Republican leaders likely had nothing to do with the substance
of his remarks -- keep in mind, the Republican platform has a call for a ban on abortion even in cases of rape.
They had nothing to do with the fact that Akin has long held out-of-the-mainstream positions on many issues
and made numerous extremely conservative statements. Akin's mistake was that by opening his mouth with
crazy talk  made it much harder for Republicans to win a sure Senate seat pickup with him on the ballot."
