At least this info is finally getting out there to the rottedamians. It should be a community effort to bring anything suspicious to the cops!! Rotterdamians need to try to nip this in the bud and get rid of these druggy scum!

And when they are caught, they should be punished to the fullest extent of the law to show these scum that rotterdam means business!!! Don't cave and plea deal like they do in the city of schenectady!!! We all see how that's working out!!

More home burglaries, vehicle larcenies in Rotterdam
ROTTERDAM -- Police are investigating more reports of home burlgaries, including one that happened while the residents were home and asleep.

Since police initially reported three home burglaries on March 5th, there have been three more homes burglarized.  Police say televisions and small electronics have been stolen.

There have also been 11 additional vehicle larcenies since the initial 16 were reported on March 5th, and three additional vehicles have been stolen from driveways or in front of residences.  Two of the vehicles were recovered by Schenectady Police in the Mont Pleasant section.  Two vehicles remain at-large: a silver 2006 Dodge Caravan with license plate EJS-8982 and a tan 1995 Pontiac Bonneville with license plate EUV-7109.

Police have reminded residents to lock their homes and keep their exteriors well lit.  They also urge residents to keep their vehicles locked and keep anything of value out of sight.

Anyone who sees anything suspicious or has any information regarding the incidents is asked to call Rotterdam Police Detectives at (51 355-7397.

channel six ran a headline story on this a few minutes into their 11pm newscast.
They interviewed some shlub that had a TV stolen as well as money in his wallet..
BTW, how does the TV news manage to find the most uneducated guy on a street to interview?
Do they look for them or is it just luck?

I am setting myself up (and so are you) for a giant "G.F.Y." from 'you know who'.

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

Kudos to bus driver for keeping his head up

Re March 9 article, “Couple face charges in burglaries”: I am very thankful for people like the Schalmont bus driver who helped police catch the couple [allegedly] responsible for the recent rash of burglaries in Rotterdam. I wish we were all so vigilant. This serves as a reminder that we should be.

be productive....or, hire more policemen........with the way communities are expanding, that would be the way to go....and that would

make taxpayers very happy...with wages fairly distributed.....

just sayin' as BB would state.
