Snow is normal in March, in fact the biggest blizzard in NY history was on March 11, 1888.
In the Great Blizzard of 1888, snowfalls of 40-50 inches fell in parts of NJ, NY, MA and CT and produced snowdrifts of more than 50 feet.
remember the blizzard of '93? March 26th, 1993 28" of snow at the Albany airport. BUT... it looks like this blast might be it...starting next Thursday, we are looking at mid 50's for the following 7 days.
