Anybody notice how outrageous gas prices are at Getty stations, even compared to the outrageous prices other places? Most places are either just breaking the $3.90 barrier, while the 5 Corners Getty has already reached past the $4 mark, and since it hit that, already raised it's price again from $4.01 to $4.03? And they don't sell the best gas either. Heard it's watered down.
businesses will continue to be in business as long as they have customers......yes? both of those gas stations have been there for years and appear to be doing ok.

I do.................I never go out to eat anymore.................bit of ocd I guess..............can't stand the thought of someone else touching my food...........stems from what a friend who used to work at Carrol's (sp?) told me once..........how co-workers would spit in the food...............that and everytime friends would go out to eat and then complain about bad reactions................just me
Many years ago while I was working a summer job in a restaurant somebody ordered a steak rare and then sent it back because it was too rare. The cook threw the steak on the rack near the grill, all grease and dirt, cooked it longer and sent it back to the customer. Ever since seeing that I've never sent anything back. I, like Alias, prefer to cook my own meals except on rare occasions when we do eat out. I have also witnessed workers making salads without washing their hands and that's a good way for salmonella to be given to a lot of people.
