All the talk about President Obama not being a Christian & Rick Santorum's religious ferocity, it all comes down to this. America demands a President who at the very least 'seems' to believe in God but not so fervently that the president invokes God at every opportunity. A silent God, a God in the abstract, a God of the nether world. God in America is like your old aunt locked up in her bedroom. She is family but she makes you nervous. Best LEFT unseen. |

Our presidents GOD is irritant. His religion is of no significance in running our country. The less religion in US policy, the better. |

To most Americans, there is no higher power than the office of president. A belief in a higher power may result in restricting the power of the mob in charge. Tyrants do not like constrains, spiritual or otherwise.(this includes Santorum) |

| "While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat." |
