They are now done with the elder drug experiment. I have been giving 80, 90, 100 year olds statins. You know what they are? they are for lowering cholesterol, then there are the 'designer statins' that help in blood pressure and cholesterol.
Get this, as we get older we LOOSE, muscle mass, fatty tissue, skin cells, healthy cells etc. So to 'fix' it(it's a loosing battle), we have high protein/fat/carb drinks, supplements. All with increased fat to replace what you are loosing. and cholesterol is needed for neuro function. We all know what happens ot our neuro function as we age. Statins remove both the bad AND the good stuff. Dont need to be loosing any more than our body already does. Not to mention as we age, joint pain, arthritis pain etc are common, hence some pain meds. But, guess what? statins cause joint pain too.
dontcha just love it? There's more but I dont have the time right now. So yes folks became impoverished because they couldn't work because they got old, they got malnourished because they got old etc....now they spend their time doctor hopping.
anyone see the 200 year old human? I'd like to meet him/her.

But Box you just got done telling me that the Seniors were starving and didn't have a place to live and no health coverage and now you agree that things were pretty good before Obamacare so why did we need to pass it, control over the masses. When this government starts denying health-care coverage due to age or cost and people may die because of it, look out.

that IS the other side.....I've seen it....they dont actually come right out and deny the coverage,,,,they legislate REGULATIONS/REQUIREMENTS that must be met before treatment will be paid for. they do it now. and IT'S NOT THE INSURANCE COMPANY'S OF THEIR OWN FREE WILL. This comes from leaders above, always has. We have the Surgeon General who is in charge of the whole outfitting of the system along with the rest of our trustworthy leaders.
no surgery unless you have at least 70% blockage, oh wait, lets tweek that and say that we were wrong and say 75%, that will save the system about 1.8million a year and increase the profits for the pensions and 401ks.
so the system set up to 'prevent' that poverty/sickness is extorted to the fullest by BOTH the dems/reps.....neither party outing the other except for stupid election cliches....but they will make the insurance companies the 'enemy' by calling the insurance company's rules wrong, when in fact the government set up all the regulations....

Prior authorization criteria
The plan requires you or your physician to get prior authorization for certain drugs. This means that you will need to get approval from the plan before you fill your prescriptions. If you don't get approval, the plan may not cover the drug. View your plan's prior authorization criteria to determine if your drugs qualify for coverage.

Prior auths and formulary changes existed for decades... nothing new there, and are new with Obama care
The modern conservative is engaged in one of man's oldest exercises in moral philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness. John Kenneth Galbraith
What the socialistic, irresponsible, can't take care of themselves, dumbed down fail to recognize...purposely or not....is that the healthcare reform is bringing this country right back to the 'good old days'. Those who survived the 'great depression' or the 'good old days'.......will confirm that!!
It is a step to bring america 'back in time'. America was always know for it's best of the best health care in the WORLD.....only now to dissect, tear down and dismantle it......bringing it back to the pre-WWII era!!
Doesn't take a rocket scientist here!

now they are in LARGE volume and change almost every 30days.....again...the waves get more frequent.....but dont worry once national healthcare gets here in full force the choice WILL disappear because folks will be sick and tired of the changes....the government will use that as a podium puck to say "we will make it less complicated and we will pick for you so your life is easier."
sheople do like it easier, even if we dont understand.....
