"SENIOR HUNGER THREAT LOOMS", I read this in my morning paper.. Maybe President Obama has the right idea pushing birth control & abortion options, do these things & down the road there will be fewer seniors. 'The end justifies the means'. A kinder & gentler culling of the herds. Millions of people are kept alive via drugs, medical intervention, hand outs then we moan we have to house them in nursing facilities & feed them. Less intervention up front will ease the senior problem. The 'rubber band principle' governs the universe. What you postpone when it occurs down the road the price will be greater. The 'evil genius' of man always creates more problems than it resolves. The destruction of the family by the social engineers has thrown every aspect of life in America out of balance. Go to a nursing home where a bunch of old guys are in a rec room watching mind killing TV, the attendants (when they bother) know it is time to take the gents to the gents room because the poop smell gets overwhelming. Not exactly an ashram where men in their senior years spend their final days in contemplation of greater realities. Seniors act like old monkeys mimicking the young till their minds are gone, then we wipe them, that is their dignity in old age.Aging with dignity within family is the 'way to go', not the false humanity we offer the elderly in America. Like many of my generation (post WWII baby) I grew up in a home with three generations present. My grandparents were not built in baby sitters, but the respected & honored parents of my parent. I saw life, death, disease, aging, up close & personal. I understood man does not live forever on this planet & that death with dignity is better than death in a nursing facility swimming in your body fluids. In America we are all swimming in our filth. Enjoy the stench. |

I've never understood why Conservatives want an unwanted child to be born to an unwilling mother. |
| The modern conservative is engaged in one of man's oldest exercises in moral philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness. John Kenneth Galbraith

I never understood why liberals like to force unwilling people to pay for people that don't want a job. |

Well written! But let us all sadly acknowledge that the generation you are referring to is quite different today. 'Back in the day'.....most all women were home and were homemakers, mothers, nurses, cooks, cleaning folks, laundry folks....aka caretakers of the family who were accustomed to being home 24/7. Today no one is home. There is no support for the elderly or for raising the young. We warehouse our elderly and we warehouse our children while everyone is out working. And lets be reminded that warehousing our children and warehousing our elderly has become a 'big business'!! Created? Perhaps! |

The Right to Life is the final battle for Civil Rights and will be fought and won by those who are for Life. The Neocons who advocate death will fail...... |

People without children and have no idea of what a woman's rights are....should keep their
mouths shut.....religion and politics do not go together......and right to life is a personal
choice .....that's just my opinion.
ANd Ham DVOR.....should not comment on anything when it comes to any issue dealing with
family....

THAT IS TRUTH......THANKS IRA..... |
| ...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......
The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.
