Feminazi's
If you had any doubts about Cicero's misogyny, his term for women who are fighting for the availability for poor women to get free or low cost breast exams... his term for those women is "Feminazi". Says a lot about how Cic values women. |

The Komen foundation can give the money to many other organizations out there that can provide the same service. Not all of women's health issues are dealt with exclusively through PP.
We have friends who have had breast cancer and we all participate in the Komen run in albany. Have for the last 3 years. Many areas hold their own fundraisers and the money goes to their local clinics/hospitals for free breast cancer screening and research.
PP is not exclusive to women's health issues.
Absolutely! Komen can chose to fund whomever they'd like. Just because they are questioning WHERE and in WHAT capacity their money is being used at PP...so be it. Bill Gates could do the same. Gate's money is earmarked for PP services NOT INCLUDING ABORTION. If his money was misused (which this investigation may prove), I'm sure another backer may be lost. PP is NOT the only organization for womens healthcare and their stronghold is slipping away. It's called competition...better get used to it. |

No, only a select few women trying to force their views onto OTHER WOMEN. We don't need to re-visit Box's values on human life. He has made his feelings know about that "random clump of cells" called the human genome. |

OMG!!! CICERO IS SO... SO... Shall we be nice and say... SO UNINFORMED!!! Just for future posts Cicero... "In modern molecular biology and genetics, the genome is the entirety of an organism's hereditary information. It is encoded either in DNA or, for many types of virus, in RNA. The genome includes both the genes and the non-coding sequences of the DNA/RNA."Could the word that Cicero fumbled be Zygote??? Who knows. |

The bottom line is that PP is not the only game in town. They are just trying to protect and preserve their 'tax paid cash cow'! Trying to convince folks with lies and misinformation, that they are the only game in town is finally surfacing.
Komen is acting responsibly by withholding funding until a complete investigation from congress is complete.
Until then, there are more then enough other clinics and hospitals that can benefit from Komen's funding. |

Nope, I meant genome...Since at the point of conception, the embryo has all the genetic material of a human beings. There is nothing random about the cells in a fertilized egg. It can develop into nothing other than a human being based on the genome characteristics. That is the argument for embryonic stem cell research, the fact that a fertilized egg possesses all the genetic material for human development. |

Cicero... The First Rule Of Holes Is... When you're in one, stop digging. Now that Cicero has changed his views from defending the human zygote from an abortion... to Defending the Human Genome... I wonder how Cic is going to ever cut his hair, donate blood, or even throw away a sliver of his flesh if he cuts himself?... Since everyone of Cicero's cells contain his DNA, his HUMAN GENOME. For beginners Cicero... Watch Jurassic Park... It might explain it on a level that you can understand. |

Where socialized medicine is in place in Canada, there are two to four month waits for a mammogram. In our country the Obama regime announced last year that women should get fewer mammograms and wait longer to get them (possible while cancer grows in their bodies)- It is APPARENT Liberal socialists HATE women.
It's a good thing that Obama didn't propose a "single payer" plan like they use in Canada then. I'm glad that our new Obama care system is not like the Canadian version. Another success story from Barack Hussein Obama |

The National Cancer Institute recommends: Women 40 years and older should get a mammogram every 1 to 2 years. Women who have had breast cancer or other breast problems or who have a family history of breast cancer might need to start getting mammograms before age 40, or they might need to get them more often. Talk to your doctor about when to start and how often you should have a mammogram. The study to push mammograms to every two years after 40 was based on studies that suggested: Their analyses concluded that mammograms every two years give the nearly the same benefit as annual ones but confer half the risk of harm.LA Times http://www.nytimes.com/2009/11/23/health/23cancer.html |

Since everyone of Cicero's cells contain his DNA, his HUMAN GENOME.
Good try box. Human reproductive cells have ONE chromosome. At point of conception both chromosomes unite to form one new cell. The chromosome make up of the embryo isn't the same chromosome make up of the mother. It is NEW life, with human genome, with a seperate genetic code from the mother. An embryo isn't a "random cluster of cells" like a cancerous tumor.(Except for zealots part of the Planned Parenthood death cult) |

Don't run away from your own arguement Cicero. Don't change your termonology from Human Genome ot ChromosomeYour Human Genome... your DNA is in every one of your cells. Remember your post??? You weren't discussing individual chromosomes, but instead you wanted to protect the entire Human GenomeYOUR WORDS: Nope, I meant genome...Since at the point of conception, the embryo has all the genetic material of a human beings.A skin cell, a liver cell, a brain cell... and the embryo all contain the genetic material of a human beings. (BTW, Chromosomes were not mentioned until you fell deeper into this pit of desperation. Why not stick with your post of HUMAN GENOME?) We all know why! |

The Komen Foundation’s decision to cease providing grants to Planned Parenthood will soon take its toll on local communities unless the lost funding is made up. Nowhere is that more true than in Waco, Texas.
For almost 15 years, the Planned Parenthood of Waco, Texas has relied on grants from the local Susan G. Komen for the Cure affiliate to provide cancer-related care to uninsured women. But Waco is a unique case; the funding is more than just a boost — it’s actually the sole reason thousands of women receive cancer screenings and care.
In 1998, the first year the Komen Foundation began awarding grants, Planned Parenthood of Waco applied for one to provide mammograms to uninsured women. With the grant, women could pick up a voucher from Planned Parenthood, take it to the mammography center, and then have a screening paid for by Planned Parenthood. The Komen Foundation later suggested that they apply for a second grant, this time for diagnostics, so that women with problematic screenings could get more testing. In 2007, the state of Texas — the same state which dramatically slashed family funding and Planned Parenthood funding this year — made them a Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening Provider (BCCS).
As part of the national BCCS program, Planned Parenthood became the only clinic in a 12-county area that could enroll poor, uninsured women in the Medicaid for Breast and Cervical Cancer program and get life-saving treatment. To remain a BCCS provider, the clinic has to put up matching funds — $1 for every $3 of federal money — and the Komen money provided that needed match. They must have an outside funding source to match the BCCS program.

Don't change your termonology from Human Genome ot Chromosome
Not running away...The human genome proves it is a human being, not an ape, not a tumor, not a cat... The chromosomes prove the human life is not the mothers genetic code. The Row V Wade decision dehumanized a person based on the argument that a woman has a right to do what she wants with her body...Well, a HUMAN EMBRYO it isn't her body, it is a seperate human life inside her body. |
