What I REALLY find most amusing and somewhat sad, is how people put religion and politics into EVERY SINGLE issue!! And then they rally the crowds of their religion or political favor and rant, hold demonstrations, lobby, advertise...etc, hoping to be heard. It is a sad state of affairs when each individual person doesn't feel that they are being heard unless they inject themselves into a 'group' of like mindedness. SAD!!
eg: You don't have to be catholic, and many are not, to be pro-life. You don't have to be a dem, and many are, to be pro-choice. You don't have to be black or gay, and many are not, to want equal rights for all!! You don't have to be a dem, an many are not, to take from the poor and give to the rich.
I mean come on here folks...........get a grip and don't fall for the stereotype hype!

Women's health is still a joke in mainstream medicine.....
as if breast cancer affects just women(it's noticed because women wouldn't feel like women because men wouldn't 'feel them') as if ovarian cancer is any different from testicular cancer
the ONLY difference between men/women function is where the procreation(no religious intonation here) happens....EVERYONE must affect the uterus.......the manipulation of a society's posterity has ALWAYS been around....
PP certainly doesn't make us urbane and civilized......
...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......
The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

WND EXCLUSIVE REAL REASONS WHY PLANNED PARENTHOOD FREAKED OVER KOMEN 'They can't afford to have any group stand up to them' Published: 8 hours ago By Jack Minor
A new report has validated concerns expressed by the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure Foundation over investigations into Planned Parenthood, the U.S. abortion industry’s biggest player.
And there also has been suggested a reason why Planned Parenthood stomped so hard and so fast on the foundation and its relatively minor grants when officials there said they would discontinue them because of the multiple investigations of Planned Parenthood.
“Planned Parenthood is like the mafia and if one store owner doesn’t want to pay, they take him out because they can’t afford to have any group stand up to them,” said Gualberto Garcia Jones, the legal analyst for Personhood USA, the campaign that simply suggests defining the unborn as “persons” under the Constitution, which would protect them from abortion.
There have been many questions about why Planned Parenthood officials freaked out over the suggestion by the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation that it would re-evaluate its annual $600,000 or $700,000 in grants to the abortion industry giant that routinely reports tens of millions of dollars in profits.
What a pile or crap! This article (From WND of course) would have you believe that PP had some part in the Komen Drama. Look at Komen employees and staff's reaction to the Komen cuts to PP. Some top Komen executives resigned in protest of the PP cuts. Several Komen outlets posted protests to the Komen cuts. Komen cut funding to PP for purely political reasons, then denied that it was political, then when the FACTS of the issue surfaced, Komen apologized for their actions. NOW THIS ARTICLE WOULD HAVE YOU BELIEVE THAT KOMEN IS SOME HOW THE VICTIM!
Komen used women's health care and breast cancer to further their political agenda. America won't soon forget.

Carefully research charities before making donations
The issue here isn’t one’s view on abortion. I personally support a woman’s right to choose. The issue here is a donor’s right to know where his or her money is going. If you donate money to fight breast cancer, 100 percent of that donation should be going to fight breast cancer. If they have enough money that they can give it away to other groups, they obviously don’t need my donation. I donated some of my excess business vehicles to a well-advertised New Yorkbased charity that promises to help kids. After tens of thousands worth of donations through the years, I found out that this charity supplies financial aid to children of only one specific religion to get psychiatric help. No other type of children, no other type of aid. This was never mentioned in any of their ads on radio or TV. I don’t discriminate against any other belief, and I don’t want my donations ignoring children with problems based on religion, color, or creed. This is my point. You must thoroughly investigate a charity before you throw money at it. Don’t assume its purpose is as it appears. All charities need a complete review by our state attorney general. I can think of no other crime more morally reprehensible than bogus charities. A charity should have to post its complete purpose and its percentage of funds collected that actually get dispensed to those in need.
DALLAS -- At least five high-ranking executives with the Susan G. Komen for the Cure breast cancer charity have resigned in the aftermath of the organization's decision to eliminate its funding for Planned Parenthood.
The departures include three officials from Komen's Dallas headquarters, as well as CEOs of affiliate groups in Oregon and New York City. The chairman of the foundation also stepped down from his post, though he will remain on the board. Although some cited personal reasons, the resignations suggest that Komen is still in turmoil, even after reversing course and restoring the money to Planned Parenthood.

As you can see MT, the article wasn't slanted; Box posted the part he wanted people to read. Box slanted it by omitting three quarters of the article.
He conveniently left the link out of the original post - else I wouldn't have fallen for his crap. I actually tend to read the WHOLE story, but he got me this morning ... I should have known better than to think Tom would post the WHOLE story.
If I were the head of this Komen organization............I'd desolve it! That would be the day that 'my organization' was being held captive to the special interest groups!!!

I posted a title, the opening paragraphs, and (forgot the first time), a link to read the rest of the story.
If anyone was interested they should read the link... Should I post the entire article on the board??? No one else does... or they rarely do.
Koemen hurt it's image by defunding PP and the flight from Koemen is the aftermath No one wants to be associated with the group.

Koemen has done some good in the past, but it shot itself in the foot by defunding PP.
If donations keep dropping and staff keeps leaving, Bumble may get his wish... they may just fold.
