The seniors I've been talking to sure want the government to stop spending because they fear that if the economy collapses due to the huge debt this country now carries there may be no Social Security for them to live on after they paid into it all these years.

It depends on what seniors you talk to. I've heard some say that they can't wait until they are 65 so they can be covered under medicare. Some feel that the government should take care of them.

The way the law reads right now you have no choice on Health-Care once you turn 65 everybody has to be on Medicare. If you think that you can get all your medical bills covered by Medicare you're going to be very disappointed when you get a bill from the hospital or doctor. You better have a second health insurance policy paying for what Medicare doesn't cover.

I think this could be tied into how a president is good/popular/hated etc....it is by the view and age and time of life of folks.....and the numbers of them.....the modern elders fear their offspring

*TIC*......the point being they have wisdom and learned life lessons that dont come from public schools/politics/religion etc.....their fight of life is over(and I dont mean dead over) I mean
they got exactly(or not) what was at the end of their yellowbrick road.....as we all do...it was a stupid survey.....I have spent the last 20 years of my life with 80-90somethings and have
listened to GRAND stories.....

I know I dont have the grace they have....I can only hope I learn it......right now....FIGHT ON!!!!
