According to CNN, Texas Governor Rick Perry is ending his Presidential campaign and will make an announcement today {1/19} in South Carolina. This will narrow the REP candidates to four: Former MA Governor Mitt Romney, Former Speaker Newt Gingrich, Texas Congressman Ron Paul and Former PA Senator Rick Santorum. Any one of the four is vastly superior to the current failure in the White House.
Really...Gingrich is better??? Ethics violations; censured by his own party; outright liar when he went after Clinton and he was doing same on the side; lobbies for Freddie/fannie....REALLY, BETTER....thanks but no thanks...I would pick OBAMA over GINGRICH ANY DAY OF THE WEEK
JUST BECAUSE SISSY SAYS SO DOESN'T MAKE IT SO...BUT HE THINKS IT DOES!!!!! JUST BECAUSE MC1 SAYS SO DOESN'T MAKE IT SO!!!!!

Perry is just a cheap, dollar store knock off of Texas politician George Dubya, and we all saw how well that worked out the last time.
He won't go down as the worst POTUS ever though

Ummm... You may be wrong on that one. GWB isn't rated the worst among All US presidents, but he is the worst among all modern US presidents. "238 presidential scholars: Bush worst president of modern era, fifth worst in US history" Worst Ever: A. Johnson, Buchanan, Harding, Pierce and G.W. Bush
The modern conservative is engaged in one of man's oldest exercises in moral philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness. John Kenneth Galbraith
When was that poll taken? It sounds outdated. Perry made a complete fool of himself with his foreign policy answers especially on Turkey. Speaking of turkey the one in the White House went to Disneyland. He didn't want a 91st round of golf?

based upon their scholarly views....not the regular joes views....I'm not saying they are wrong....I'm saying that the rest of us non-scholars basically do the quick litmus test....and I bet most of us dont read/interview the historical content of our president that we have elected.....
we may feel bad about their choices because our lives are being impacted by more personal things and our elected leaders become a 'them'......and rightly so.....
some other scholars, 100 years from now will have changed the list to include -pleb surveillence without notice.....JK
