BUT WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!......they have broken holy ground for the bank on Altamont Ave.....I wonder if it will have style/patina/class.....or just some borish, brick style cardboard box.......just the way DVOR likes it.....

Once again you are just plain lying.  I have NEVER advocated "borish card board boxes"  --- the fact is that you have no idea what my preferences are for building styles.

In the future try to offer actual FACTS and something intelligent to add to the discussion -- and not just your prejudiced, bile-generated pack of personal attacks and lies.

I drove by the CVS on Chrisler today - intentionally -  it actually is a very nice design and would be very appropriate at 4 Corners.

THAT is actually a matter of opinion --   and you see just because you have an opinion doesn't mean that everyone else has to agree with that.

If I wanted to have a discussion on the topic of building design - it would be over a cup of coffee some day not in this venue.

CVS at 4 corners to resemble the so called 'beautiful' one on Chrysler ave???? that was YOUR assertion......and to be honest it's a freakin' ugly plastic milk jug....apparently cheap enough for CVS
to put up in that area......that's a fact.....and it was YOUR assertion.....

offering MY assertion: CVS SHOULD BE HELD TO STYLE/PATINA/CLASS VIA THE PLANNING COMMISH.....or are the balls lacking because the only thing considered is about the deal and
the change in the pocket of the developer/seller going jingle-lingle-ling?????

what say you little man???

Well actually as a member of the planning committee, a discussion about designs is not a private over a cup of coffee discussion, but rather a public disclosure.  It is NOT a matter of private opinion on your part, it is a matter of you understanding the public's desires so that you can help guide the process...as a member of the planning committee.  If you don't understand that, then you need to resign your appoinment immediately.

And oh by the way, the opinion about the look of CVS onChrisler is not mine alone, if yo have been listening to the town's people that you represent now. YOU NEED TO BE LISTENING!!!!!

Discussing building designs/styles IN GENERAL with non-members of the commission is NOT a public meeting.  I could spend hours talking about architectural design IN GENERAL and my likes/dislikes -- and actually I have .. it is a subject that I enjoy.

I am entitled and free to have my own opinion.   I happen to disagree with your opinion  (and many others disagree with your opinion) on a particular building.  Having a different PERSONAL OPINION does not interfere with ones ability to listen and view all of the facts and information (including other peoples' opinions).

We shall see. You exhibit total bias of opinion and lack of judgement based on listening. We shall see how you perform on the planning commission.

Reading the posts of the nayboobs does prove one thing --- there are already enough FLAKES around ... so we should probably change our  winter street decorations to something other than snowflakes.
