Debbie Wasserman (she who holds water, water = vasser) Shultz.

in Eastern Europe after Germany & Russia divided Poland up & again after WWII commissars would come into tell the people the truth (pravda).  The stupid people, many Poles knew the truth from history, church & oral tradition of their families.

The commissar's truth was never the same as the people's (luga) truth.

Debbie is arch typical of a commissar vintage 1930s forward.

The truth is not what it is about, it is about the new paradigm.

It is a myth The Tea Party is 'violent' it is also a myth Debbie speaks the truth.   The fact that a bold face liar like Debbie is allowed to be the voice of the party speaks legions to the intent of the Democrats.

Which is worst, one jerk with a gun not alligned with any group or a bold face liar tolerated by a political party.  I think Debbie wins.

Got to love reruns of history.

PS  In Belfast Maine in 2008 August I entered an Obama campaign office.  I asked the 'worker' what Obama was about, she told me he would establish a new paradigm.  I asked her what the paradigm thing was, no details followed.  I suggested that was typical political crap, it is all bout the paradigm boys & girls.  I then went into GOP store front, a nice looking young man in Dockers casuals was giving local GOP'ers the usual polenta & they ate it up.  I challenged the 11th commandment, "thou shalt not speak evil of a fellow Republican" aka RR, they saw no issue with that,  just about threw me out.  It is any wonder we are so screwed up in America & we elect the worst America has to offer, red or blue, left or right?

Ira's posts always sound like he just finished watching a 40's Movie Marathon on Turner Classic Movies.

The modern conservative is engaged in one of man's oldest exercises in moral
philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.

They are all part of the same 'global system'!!! Both dems/reps and have been for decades and decades and decades!! All those willing to play in the global sandbox will be considered a viable candidate by their party and the media!!

It really doesn't take a rocket scientist here folks!

There is nothing wrong with watching 40's movies on TCM.  It is about the only NON-NEWS programming worth watching on cable.
