Karl Marx Strock is the Ian Paisley of the Capital District.

Strock writes, people defend the Catholic Church.

The LEAST Rev. Ian Paisley attacks Catholics in Ireland enrollment in the IRA goes up.

Keep up the the good work Karl.

If "The Church OF What's Happin Now"  reported that Rev Ike and his congregation witnessed a "miracle" at their Church
last Wednesday afternoon, this board might be curious.

When they read that Rev Ike and his Choir sang "Amazing Grace" and every one of the 42 choir members hit every note
"exactly in tune"... something that has never happened before... ever... and Rev Ike and his entire church prayed
and prayed for weeks for that to happen...
Then It MUST be a Miracle!

Just like the Miracle when Rev Ike bet that 40 to 1 shot at Saratoga last summer... The Rev prayed and prayed...
and his horse won $1900!  (referred to in his church
as the "Lame, Blind And Still Runnin Miracle").

Or the time that Rev Ike's 54 Caddy, the one with 287,000 miles on it, started on the first try after sitting out in the below
freezing weather for a month... and Rev Ike prayed that it would start...
That MIRACLE is called the "Chilly Clunky Caddy Crank Off Miracle"

All of Rev Ike's MIRACLES, just like the miracle attributed to Kateri Tekakwitha...
I'm sure this board would have nothing derogatory  to say about Rev Ike's Miracle Factory down at the
"Church of What's Happenin Now"... would they?

who cares what carl strock says......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

Keep those cards and letters coming to the Gazetto folks. Brilliant move attack the church of the vast majority of your readers and defame a local saint. Walking papers are imminent.

Strock does draw area readers doesn't he.  He's a controversial figure in the area... SO PEOPLE BUY THE GAZETTE
TO READ WHAT STROCK POSTS.
Strock brings readers... Keep your cards and letters flowing to the Gazette... they prove that area citizens are
reading his column.

Another sign of progress? If people infuriated with the number one anti-Catholic politard cancel ads and subscriptions maybe it will finally register with the publisher. Keep flooding the Gazetto with anti Kommie Karl mail and calls. Not surprised that someone that wants to tax the neediest with a horrible regressive EMS tax would support that pos.

The Daily Gazette is one of two area papers that is actually increasing it's subscriptions.
They must be doing something right!

Strock is a jerk MOST of the time.  In this case defaming Kateri and "questioning" her saintliness is just stupid.  This is a slap to a vast number of Catholics in this community.  This board could use a little history re: that incident and Isaac Jogues.  What next?  The oil in the menorrah only lasted three days instead of eight?

Yawn,,,,, It's an opinion piece, some will agree some will disagree, for all his complaints IRA seems to be a regular reader of Stock, and sending in complaints to the gazette will just show people are following this column and make it's value to the paper go up. It's the Howard Stern effect, his fans listen for 20 minutes a day, his detractors listen for an hour....

Yossi.
We live in a Catholic or at least Christian dominated society.  Jesus is everywhere and accepted as if it were law.

These Conservatives who want Constitutional law, think it protects their rights as Christians... but ignore the rights of
other religions or no religions.
I've seen atheists maligned on this board several times as, as if that weren't offensive.  If the same words were used
against Christians, there would be an uproar of protest from the board.

The whole "miracle" because a sick kid got better is laughable, and would be mocked on this board if it were a Pagan Miracle
that was being discussed.  If a "Witch Doctor" had been brought in and 'cured' this child, there would be jokes all around from
board regulars... but when it's a Christian Witch Doctor or a Christian "miracle"... the Hypocrisy is rampant.

I was raised a Catholic and attended Catholic schools, so I've seen both sides.  Seriously... if the Gazette ran a story
about how a South Seas  Witch Doctor shook a stick, causing a miracle, do you think it would be accepted by this board the
way a Christian Miracle seemed to be???

IMO, everyone can believe in what ever they choose to believe... or not believe in any religion at all.  I'm not attacking
Catholics... Just the hypocrisy.
