Seems like the SCDSP Legislature meetings

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

Another man, who speaks for the American People, is denied his  RIGHT TO SPEAK.

Minority Whip Steny Hoyer showed up to ask for a vote on the Senate’s compromise bill.
Republicans just ignored Hoyer and refused to hear his unanimous consent request. The fill-in Speaker simply walked away.

Both video's show  a lack of respect, but the first one was so blatant and wrong I really hope the individuals involved are removed from office. While I don't like the second video I can think of some scenarios where it would make sense.. perhaps this person had already spoken or violated time guidlines set before his speech.

Really?  The Republicans, The party of NO, are blocking legislation for the purpose of hurting Obama's re-election
chances (and failed), at the expense of the American people.

This isn't a maybe... or possibly there is another story here... The Republicans are refusing to do what they were elected
to do... to legislate.
This bi partisan legislation passed in the Senate with 83% approval... (Only the Senate TeaBaggers voted no)
The House vote most likely would have passed, with some local Republicans reportedly ready to vote yes on this bill, but
were blocked by TeaBaggin politics.

Nice spin, but the people that have to implement the tax cut say that 2 months isn't long enough to do it properly. Why didn't the Senate OK the tax cut for a year instead of passing a horrible compromise bill for 2 months??

When it comes to a tax cut for the rich... Republicans line up to vote... no problems, no delays, not bickering...
they vote Y E S!  They voted for a tax cut for the rich with out paying for it (unlike this bill) they voted for a tax
cut for the rich with out any additional riders (unlike this bill) They voted for a tax cut for the rich with out any delays...
(unlike this bill)...
but when the tax cut aids the middle class, the Republican TeaBaggers stall, add riders, vote to delay... cry like little
babies, and fight any progress with roadblocks at every step of the process.

Reason?  The Republicans are voting for their constituents... the 1%.

The short-term bipartisan compromise passed by almost the entire Senate is the only option to ensure that
middle-class families aren’t hit with a tax hike in 10 days.

As to why the Republicans have been stalling on this bill, adding provisions unrelated to the bill, stalling on every
position,  tying it up for months and in the end, refusing to vote on even a 2 month extension...
Ask The Republicans!

Republicans, Republicans...blah, blah, blah... Box, you are getting boring...
Take a look at how Pelosi treated the pubs when she was speaker, and how the other House Dems treated the pubs...The party in power think they have the right to squash the minority party, it doesn't matter which one does it,  in this environment its just a change in the color of party that does.

The Senate took the time to craft a bill for 2 months and if the bill was so great why didn't they just pass it for a whole year? Now in 2 months the arguing and fighting will start all over again. Maybe Obama and Reid want to keep doing the 2 month bill approval to distract the people from looking at the economy, unemployment rate, Solyndra, stimulus, and the rest of Obama's failed policies to try to get him re-elected.

If the bill is so bad why don't the Republicans just vote it down??? WHY?
If they don't like the bill then vote against it and the bill dies... they won't.  They won't vote for it or against it...
they just stall tying up legislation.

If they don't like this bill, they, as a majority, can craft a bill they do like AND THEN VOTE FOR IT.

The Weeper of the house won't let this bill come to a vote because IT WOULD PASS, with many Republicans
supporting it.

Box, the House wants to pass the bill for a year instead of just 2 months, what's wrong with that. In the long run it will pass either way but why should the fighting have to start in just 2 months all over again.

A ‘No’ from the White House
December 22, 2011 11:06 A.M.
By Kathryn Jean Lopez

John Boehner just talked to the president; there is no budging. From the Speaker’s office just now:

Today, Speaker Boehner called President Obama to discuss the Speaker’s desire to provide a full year of tax relief for American families before December 31st.  With Senator Reid having declined to call his Members back to Washington this week to join the House in negotiating a full-year extension of the payroll tax cut, the Speaker proposed that the President send members of his economic policy team up to Congress to find a way to accommodate the President’s full-year request. The Speaker reiterated that if their shared goal is a one-year bill, there is no reason an agreement cannot be reached before year’s end. The President declined the Speaker’s offer.

Speaker Boner doesn't need Obama to write this legislation.  He has a majority in the House...If he wanted a bill
all he had to do is write it.  Then send it to the Senate for their approval.

Obama has no say in the matter unless it is sent back by a Presidential veto.

Once again... THE REPUBLICANS HOLD A MAJORITY IN THE HOUSE.  If they wanted a bill for 1 year or 2 years or
10 years, all they have to do is WRITE IT AND VOTE ON IT.
Instead they PREVENTED A VOTE ON THIS BILL THAT HAS ALREADY PASSED IN THE SENATE AND WOULD PROBABLY
PASS IN THE HOUSE, IF BONER WOULD STOP DELAYING AND VOTE.
