I have just heard the greatest news ever --- (even greater than the City Dems and Town Dems fighting back the "forces of evil" to win the November elections -- only slightly less significant than if Trattoria Rustica opened a restaurant in Schenectady County:
"It now official that Moonshadow the Musical will make its World Premiere at the Princess Theatre, Melbourne, in May 2012."
Hopefully, this musical will come to New York City -- and then Proctor's -- within the next few years. |

Yusuf Islam will be reigning supreme once again and people the world over WILL be anxiously awaiting this dynamic and entertaining show. Cat Stevens - now known as Yusuf Islam - is not a terrorist nor is he on any "terrorist watch list". He has successfully been admitted into the US since 9-11 and has won 2 libel suits against European publications who spread the false rumors that he had terrorist connections.
The FACT is that Yusuf Islam is considered a holy man and recognized INTERNATIONALLY as a man of peace.
It would be a major accomplishment if Proctor's could land MOONSHADOW - The Musical and an even greater accomplishment if we could arrange to host a visit of this legendary musician to our community. |

I would imagine that this musical will take 3 to 5 years to reach America -- probably work its way from Australia (where it is premiering) to London and then to New York. Those of us who are fans of the peace-loving Yusuf Islam will have to patiently await its arrival on our shores or make plans to travel "down under" to see it. |
