The number of married couples in the US is at a record low...
...showing decades of changing attitudes about the role of marriage in society. Only 51 percent of all adults 18 and
older are married, according to a Pew Research Center analysis, showing a steep decline from the 57 percent who
were married in 2000.

The modern conservative is engaged in one of man's oldest exercises in moral
philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.

As society "evolves" things like living together, gay relationships, etc, tend to be more accepted. So, the declining percentage doesn't surprise me. One unfortunate consequence of the disposable relationship ( both living together and quickie divorces) is the effect it has on children. Many more single parent homes with the predictable economic challenges.

AND....IT SEEMS THAT THE CELEBS CREATED MUCH OF THIS IMMORAL BEHAVIOR....ATHLETES, POLITICS

Marriage is a thing of the past for most....it's too easy to get divored.....have children without marriage.....

The gay people have more moral sense and it seems like their partnership is lasting....this is something I have observed over the past few years.....

Then, there is the infidelity either married or living together....seems like that is an entitlement...or friends with
benefits....or when it's over......a tradegy is likely...

Just my personal thoughts.

only because right now the 'novelty' of having/accepting gay folks(and I could care less if a person is) is kind of like a boy/girl scout patch one gets for being PC and having one.....

and hollywood and the court jesters are great at this

just something I have observed over the years

the hippy commune temple has arrived, most of the walls are built and the campfire is in full swing

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.
