Can anyone she dsome light on this one:
298.11 Authorize the Town Attorney to enter into a Settlement Agreement in the matter of
Brookview Court Inc. vs. Town of Rotterdam and Mohonasen Central School District

Probably a tax certiorari (tax assessment settlement).  The plantiff is a familiar (or should I say familia) name...check out the agenda for the July 13, 2011 town board meeting.  Same friend, same type of settlement.  This agenda item is probably for the recently built condos on Curry Rd.
Yikes!  How any favors can be granted before the end of the year?

Any company has the option of presenting plans to the local governing authority.  It can't  be presented the same way without modification twice however.  Wait and see what they're proposing - you might be surprised, presently

I agree. This is what scotia did. They kept sending them back to the drawing board until they came up with a plan that would fit the village design and in agreement with the residents.

Again............in talking to rotterdamians, they are not opposed to a cvs at that corner. Most just felt that it wasn't a good fit as first proposed and that it would have impacted the long term residents negatively.

Hopefully they get it right this time.

Wednesday nights meeting will be the last  presided over by  FDG and his puppet-master BG.

In January, the reasonable adults will be running the town and the town board meetings --- and problems will be solved and sanity will prevail.

I briefly looked at the new drawing and the only changes I saw were the addition of some bushes and left turn exit for cars onto Lawndale has been changed to allow right turns thus directing traffic into the neighborhood. The truck exit stayed the same.

Fail!
