Occupy Wall Street WINS!

A tax on the 1%, a tax break for the 99%!

Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo and legislative leaders announced on Tuesday that they had reached an agreement to
overhaul New York State’s income tax, creating a higher-tax bracket for the highest-income residents and reducing
the tax rate for millions of middle-class residents.
“This would be lowest tax rate for middle class families in 58 years.”

Members of “Occupy Wall Street” have for months been pressuring elected officials to raise taxes on wealthy
Americans and lighten the burden on the poor and middle class. This very issue is what activist and author
Naomi Wolf was arrested over in October, outside a Huffington Post event where Cuomo was being honored for
his support of marriage equality.

Thank You Occupy Wall Street!

philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.

God Bless Governor Andrew Cuomo. I predict  he will one day lead this great country as our President -- much to the distaste and whining of the Negative Nayboobs and NNTP Fu*ktards.

This seems to be fairer than keeping the millionaires tax, or letting it expire. He was going to have to get more revenue from somewhere without that tax, too bad he had to be dragged kicking and screaming to that realization. Now, if we could only do some serious budget cutting we'd be in business. By serious I mean not blindly hacking at programs without regard to benefit in order to leave all the leeches at the top and bottom of New York alone to suck the state dry.

While I have no issue with this tax, I guess I support it, I also agree that we need to cut state spending big time. This tax is like putting a band aid over a    bullet wound.

If they cut the wasteful spending that costs the taxpayers millions.....we wouldn't have this 'new tax'!
Andrew has his father's gift of 'speech'. He could convince a cat that it was a dog!
Ya know the old saying........how do you know when a politician is lying? When they move their mouth!!!

the only thing coming down the pipeline is the bringing down of the 'corzines' and our illustrious legislators 'taxing themselves' before the fire spreads to them.....there is grumbling and gnashing of teeth and the masses are almost
at the end of their FORCED TOLERANCE and POLITICAL CORRECTNESS.....
