I see the old Sorrento's is yet another pizza "joint". "Henry and Erik's" is slated to open soon at the site of the old restaurant - right across the street from Paesan's on Guilderland Ave.
I hear they make outstanding pizza and have an existing loyal following
Congratulations Henry - glad to see you back again! Can't want to have something fantastic from the Pizzarama!
There is much finer pizza to be had at the Four Corners Restaurant and several other fine establishments that are supportive of the Town and its incoming Administration ... The owners actually CARE about their community.
It is good to see a business moving into that building.

Really another pizza place, Pizza is my favorite junk/treat food and even I think this has gotten ridiculous. Nothing against the new owners, but at some point the town has to max out and a bunch of these places will end up out of business.

The free market will determine which places stay and which places don't make it.
Personally, I prefer home made pizza.

The name "Henry" and "Pizzarama" should have been a clue, Henry is the former owner of Shoporama Pizza - he'll do well in the new location, wiping out these cardboard style pizzas that come out of a corporate factory - plus he has EXCELLENT wings!
Now all we need is a place that serves great, authentic BBQ.

No question........the pizza will be great! Always was!! All of the pizza places in rotterdam make a good pizza. And they all make them differently.

Johnny C's has great food....better than other Itlaian resturants in the area....my opinion...
Henry ....how did he lose his place at Shoporama?
not too good what I heard.in the donut shop
He didn't "lose" it - he sold it, sans recipe and non-compete agreement, to the new owners, 4Corners. Bad decision on 4Corners part, great perk for Rotterdam, his awesome food will once again be served very soon!

Shoporama didn't close because 4 Corners wanted the place. In fact, it was a decision by the owner of Shoporama to close the doors, and that he wanted to close up the business. I think it was difficult for him to decide to do that in the first place. I don't know what was going on at the time that he closed, but I will be sure to check his ne place out. I know it was great at Shoporama, and with the same person opening at another location, it should be good.
4 Corners took the opportunity that Shoporama closed when they had the fire at their original location, probably the only reason the Shoporama original owner couldn't open at the same location he was at before, and he obviously sees there is a demand in town.
