Beatiful voices

Optimists close their eyes and pretend problems are non existent.
Better to have open eyes, see the truths, acknowledge the negatives, and
speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies.

I prefer religious themed Christmas music - "In the Bleak Midwinter" and "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen" and ""I heard the Bells on Christmas Day" (preferably the Johnny Cash version)  are some of my favorites.

Yep, doesn't know how to post 'em   (doesn't know how under the other username either)

Here's another good song that isn't heard often.  IMO still a toss up between Judy Collins and Joan Baez for which I like better

At Christmas time especially -- the Magnificat or Canticle of Mary is be most inspirational.  It is based on Luke 1:46-55.   It is sung every evening for Vespers in the Roman Catholic and Anglican/Episcopal traditions. Quite a number of versions have been written/composed  --

Vivaldi, Bach and Bruckner each composed versions of this Scripturally-based song of Joy and Thanksgiving to God.

In recent years: one by David Haas, one with lyrics by Michelle Sherliza, OP and music by David Phillips and another by Millie Rieth known as "Mary's Song".

Well, so post it!!!!!    Geeez!

Took less than 15 seconds to find it.

Oh, I forgot, someones does not know how.   Not a Christmas song, but no matter.   Look's like he belongs to ZZ Top.  Sang with a group that opened for Janis Joplin.   And today.

Personally, I like a lot of the carols from England  -- That is why I enjoy attending the Advent service of Lessons and Carols at the Episcopal Cathedral of All Saints in Albany and the Episcopal church in the small New England town near one of my properties.

I won't light all 8 candles up two weeks early but a Hanukkah song (albeit early) song is worth inclusion. Please-no lecture from DVOR. Save it for Obama.
