Some demonstrators are planning to occupy retailers on Black Friday to protest "the business that are in the pockets of Wall Street."

Organizers are encouraging consumers to either occupy or boycott retailers that are publicly traded, according to the Stop Black Friday website.

The goal of the movement is to impact the profits of major corporations this holiday season........................>>>>..........................>>>>.............................http://www.cnbc.com/id/45402815

These people are idiots, they're spreading the word through a traded Internet provider on  traded computer and cell phone makers. 90% of them are probably wearing clothes from one of the businesses they're now boycotting And let's say they do succeed and stop businesses from making money who is that going to effect, the people who work there who will get laid off that's who. Man I hope I run into a group of these people while I'm shopping, I would have them stumbling trying to make excuses when I call them out on their BS.

I can't say it enough........these occupiers are truly DUMBED DOWN MINDLESS IDIOTS!! They are actually going to promote boycotting businesses in hopes of lowering their profits!!!!  O-M-G!!!

They have no regard that there are folks with families who actually 'work' at these businesses and depend on their jobs to put food on the table and pay their bills!!! And not to mention health care and retirement in some cases!!!!

So yes, by all means lets boycott businesses so they don't make money and start laying off folks so they can be placed on the public teet and close up shop for yet more empty building!! Yup....that's clearly the way to show 'em!

THEY ARE MINDLESS DUMBED DOWN POT SMOKING RAPISTS MURDERS VANDALS ROBBER IDIOTS who are still enjoying free camping and music!!

WOW!!! they just figured out that they are rats in a cage too.....the only problem is they are occupying the wrong nest.....

the retailers DONT MAKE THE SYSTEM.....we allowed them to make the system because for a generation it's been all about the 2nd lie "let your money work for you" instead of "you work for your money".......

TRADE WILL ALWAYS HAPPEN.....even if we bulldoze down the malls and build 'farmers markets' or open air markets or what ever PC-greenie word we want to call them...trade will still happen and it will still mean some folks are rich and
some folks aren't as rich as they think they should be....

now if they want to talk about the glut in the system and the pitfalls and bumps in the system or even the lack of logic in the system that's fine.....but equalization NEVER TURNS OUT WELL......why?

1. need common enemy
2. need lack of self motivation
3. must promote hive-think

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

If they try to "occupy" a retail store -- which is private property -- they should be arrested and hauled off to jail.

Sounds like these 'occupiers' have had their brains frozen sleeping outside and now they just want a warm place to stay, so the mall sounded like a great idea.

Guess when you begin a protest and you really don't know what you're protesting, you're simply a mindless idiot following others into an abyss of ignorance.

Can't quite make the connection between Bank of America and Aunt Annies Pretzles, but I'm sure one of these morons will.

Occupy Black Friday—'flash mob' protests planned at local malls
The Business Review by Michael DeMasi, Reporter
Date: Wednesday, November 23, 2011, 6:30am EST - Last Modified: Wednesday, November 23, 2011, 8:28am EST

Management at Crossgates Mall    in Guilderland, New York, is “cautiously optimistic” Occupy Albany protesters will be peaceful and respectful if they carry out a planned flash mob on Black Friday.
General Manager Joe Castaldo said he will not beef up security beyond what he already has planned for one of the busiest shopping days of the year at the region’s biggest mall.
An estimated 50,000 to 75,000 people are expected to show up at Crossgates on the day after Thanksgiving. About 20 stores are opening at 12 a.m. Friday; others at 5 a.m.
Castaldo said if the flash mob occurs, it should not interfere with shoppers or the ability of stores to conduct business.
“If it does we’ll have to take the appropriate measures,” he said.
Colonie Center    General Manager Ken Huge said mall officials hope a flash mob, if it occurs, does not upset shoppers on Black Friday..........................>>>>...........................>>>>...........................http://www.bizjournals.com/albany/morning_call/2011/11/occupy-black-friday-flash-mob-plans.html

If they gave me every item free, I wouldn't go out today for anything...

In another state a woman pepper-sprayed customers jamming and rushing to go inside a store.

Gunshots at another Mall.....

What these people don't understand is that they bought into the Corporate America's greed...

If you have to camp out for days at a time to be first to get a bargain, then you don't have the money in the
first place to buy all the "toys" they dangle in front of you...

Hope all is safe at these "bargain" event....Tradition has changed and not for the good....like someone said

"pretty soon it will back up to the 4th of July for "black day" shopping......point well said....

Was at the Occupy protest at Colonie Center. A big f****  joke. 10 all white smell flea baggers broke into song. BFD! Shoppers were begging the CPD to arrest these anarchists. Right after their "carol" they ran out of the mall. With security in hot pursuit. Not only are they anti-capitalist but they are anti-Christian.

So apparently, they do not have enough strength of conviction to stand their ground and be confronted by law enforcement.   This is significant because the mall is private property  and the mall owner & store owners could press charges --- and then David Soares couldn't just drop the charges.

Mayor Jennings and David Soares are spineless when it comes to confronting the illegal behavior of these protestors --- I am sure if had been a boy scout troop or a Pro-Life group protesting than Jennings and Soares would have sent in the cops with batons and tear gas.

They have no support. This perversion of Christmas carols is just another example of how sick these anarchists actually are. They fled the mall because the average 99% is fed up with these smelly flea baggers. They have no right to "occupy" a park or mall. If Mayor Jennings had a spine he would have listened to Gov Cuomo and cleaned out the park at curfew. Jennings and Sores are both finished in politics. Sores will lose in the next DEM primary. There is no constitutional right to turn our parks into a sewer no matter how many times they say there is.
