'Separation of church & state', much misunderstood.  The meaning is, there be no 'state religion.  The popular misunderstanding is, church- religion is to have no place in the government & popular culture.

America has discarded the concept of law or equal application of the law.  The law insure public safety not the other way around.  The ACLU is constantly going after organized religion over crosses, crucifixes, God, Ten Commandments, etc.  There is a difference between a cross & a crucifixes.

For years the Catholic Church has been offering safe haven, sanctuary to illegal aliens..  The Catholic frenzy is not driven by logic or patriotism - nor morality.  The Catholic Church is a on a guilt trip.  The church came to America with the conquistadors, exterminated ingenious groups & now the atonement.  The atonement is bringing America down.  Let the church distribute the wealth of Rome as an atonement now the wealth of America.

When is the ACLU going after the Catholic Church for hiding illegal aliens, mixing church & state by the ACLU definition.  Unequal application of the 'law' is a game played by mayors, DA's & the ACLU.  I see no one looking after Americas interest.

America will be hanging from a cross soon if an intervention does not occur.  If God works through the church, expect no help from God.

We got this thru email and thought it just might be a great idea........yes?

Your Annual Reminder
CHRISTIANS EVERYWHERE:

What a clever idea! Yes, Christmas cards. This is coming early so that you can get ready to include an important address to your list.

Want to have some fun this CHRISTMAS?

Send the ACLU a CHRISTMAS CARD this year.

As they are working so very hard to get rid of the CHRISTMAS part of this holiday, we should all send them a nice, card to brighten up their dark, sad, little world. Make sure it says "Merry Christmas" on it.

Here's the address, just don't be rude or crude:
ACLU
125 Broad Street , 18th Floor
New York , NY 10004

Two tons of Christmas cards would freeze their operations because they wouldn't know if any were regular mail containing contributions. So spend 44 cents and tell the ACLU to leave Christmas alone. Also tell them that there is no such thing as a " Holiday Tree". It's always been called a CHRISTMAS TREE!

There are lots of trees... but not one is actually  a "christmas tree".

John Mertz (Bumblethru) must be an anti-Catholic bigot ...  a throw back to the 19th century  .. when men gathered in the woods at night and wore white sheets and pointy hats .. and who used fear and death threats to attack Catholics, Jews, Immigrants and racial minorities.  Thank God such gutter trash (John Mertz) is no longer in public office.

How Catholic Charities Lost Its Soul
Brian C. Anderson

As advanced social thinkers rediscover the power of faith-based institutions to rescue the down-and-out by transforming the dysfunctional worldview that often lies at the root of their difficulties, you would think that Catholic Charities USA would be a perfect model to emulate, getting the poor into the mainstream by emphasizing moral values and ethical conduct. But no: rather than trying to promote traditional values and God-fearing behavior, Catholic Charities—and the same could be said about the Association of Jewish Family and Children's Agencies or the Lutheran Services in America—has become over the last three decades an arm of the welfare state, with 65 percent of its $2.3 billion annual budget now flowing from government sources and little that is explicitly religious, or even values-laden, about most of the services its 1,400 member agencies and 46,000 paid employees provide.

Mertz, I always thought he was another brain dead Rotterdam homeboy.

In Schenectady a homeboy is a black guy.  In Rotterdam a homeboy is an Italian.  You see, we are all the same under the skin.

The Catholic Church is a CULT.  They think they own God.  Only they preside over heaven & hell.

The Nayboobs/NNTPers are a bunch of haters, anti-Catholic bigots, and anti-minority terrorists -- complete with white sheets and pointy hats.

Especially like City DEM fossil Denise Brucker who wants to tax Catholic Churches out of existence and gets a pass from the cheer leader here. Ahh, the sweet hypocrisy.

Hey....I don't really care what religion anyone practices. But when a religion is up for a debate....folks will voice their opinions in favor of or against. That's just the way it is..................k?

I love to watch Christians debate Religion... They get all offended when one Christian has a slightly different belief than
their own.
Even though most Christian religions are 99% alike, they will fight to the death about the 1% that differs.'
(Very Christlike!)
