2012

The amended budget will ultimately be the demise of the OLD Rotterdam....and will

result in disappointment for the taxpayers in Rotterdam.....the new regime will have to admit to reality

and be responsible and accoutable for the end result....

TIME STUDY FOR ALL POSITIONS IN TOWN HALL AND SATELLITES...   this will get rid of the dead weight
and make the employment and productivity a  reality check...

productivity isn't the problem.....it's in the numbers of the contracts and the number of 'services'....

productivity has nothing to do with the taxpayer and EVERYTHING to do with the supervisors performance

the town budget is on the laps of our elected and THEY have EVERYTHING to do with taxpayers OUTRIGHT......

SHOW ME THE $$ TRAIL and the 'leaking'......or is it siphon?

my point is this.

$$$$ for wages and what is actually performance in  each position can be "TIMED" then, you may be able to
either eliminate or job share to save money.....

THE TC just elected....goes into a $$$$ position ...when those wages rose over the years.  should begin at a
lower salary and increase over ...let's say.....6 months....

A lot of the positions wages need to be frozen....and contracts need less greed....The country club atmosphere
is a luxury but in these times it is time to realize that job cuts/sharing could be instituted..it's not a likeable
solution but one that will save money...labor can eat up most budgets

At the senior center....namely, the BRASS RAIL ....are they making any money?  to overcome a deficit???...even tho it is not for profit the expenses there could be decreased and menu made to be less expensive for supplies.
and product.  light menu....sandwiches/soup....and once a month a hot meal.

That's all this point is about...how to save in these times....the Town has been greedy all these years..
and it's a shame that FDG and his budget wasn't amended with common sense.

Funny, considering these are the same ones that were not good enough to run on your ticket, and are no longer considered part of your party, said by some here.
