But he did not manage his own campaign, he managed lots of other campaigns many of which were not in Rotterdam. Yep. But he can't write them down here. He can brag but he can't prove.

Not only was Ronnie the worst candidate, he was a huge anchor around a respectable man in Pidgeonand may have cost him a board seat.

Again -- citing Calvin Coolidge's sage advice "don't debate with an ignorant person"--- and grahamBonnet is an ignorant person and beyond that I don't have to justify myself to him .. as he is an unimportant piss-ant in the grand scheme of things -- I am NOT going to debate the FACT that I have managed successful political campaigns  (never said "lots" - but it was more than one) -- it is a FACT and I would be happy to discuss it IN PERSON.  

As for the 2005 campaign, it is over and done with.   Frank Pigeon did well in the campaign but if he feels the need to blame anyone for his loss --- he should blame himself --- because many were the days that he was NOT out walking door-to-door ... same with Bill Cooke.  

The FACT of the matter is that there were many days when it was just me,  Mrs. Dagostino, Mr. Carney and Mr. Buffardi out campaigning door-to door.  That is why I will ALWAYS hold those 3 individuals IN THE HIGHEST REGARDS  ... they stood by me when I needed them .. and I will ALWAYS stand by them.

As for my defeat, I don't blame anyone for it.   I believe that I did very well considering that I only had the one party line.  Also, I know that I took a few politically unpopular stands during the campaign --- and guess what -- I do NOT regret any of them.   I would much rather be honest with the voters than lie to them  -- like Mertz and Tommasone did.  

Finally, I did very well raising money for that campaign .. DURING and AFTER the race ... so much so that Mr. Cooke begged me to give the town committee money to finance a mailing for a fundraiser -- because he had let the treasury be bled dry under his chairmanship.
