Just checking the early results, in the town, the city and the county the Democrats are winning amost every race. Somewhat suprised, thought the schenectady mayor race would go to Hull, and thought the repubs would get at least one town board seat. Of course it's not over, but the fat lady is warming up.

Well I think the Fat lady has officially sung in rotterdam and in the county legislature, Dems steamroll. In Schenectady Hull has made a big comeback, Can't wait to see who wins!

Well, when the next elections come about, the Democrats will have nobody but themselves to blame.  There's only one Republican winning in town, Highway Supervisor Incumbent Jim Longo.

True, I was hoping for a split town board to liven things up, but the local republicans dropped the ball. Heck if you take FDG's votes and add them to the Dems you get an even bigger blow out.

Well the real victory is that all the snakes and backshooters are out of the Republican party and have flipped. That in itself is something that took a while to accomplish, for it is better to have 5 loyal people at your side who have principals than 500 backstabbers you can't trust!
