My young friend of who I've written before, the one who had trouble finding steady employment, like many young people today, now that he's working
a good job he has some pretty hefty taxes taken out of his paycheck. Some of his co-workers get this thing called "deductions" which is something people with minor children get to enable them to keep more of their own money to buy things their children might need. This would lead me to believe that we as a society still hold parents responsible for their children on some level.
I'm also going to go out on a limb here and suggest that a man who doesn't provide for his kids and lets their mother struggle with government handouts is not a real man.
People who start a family too soon have a hard time when even the childless are having trouble finding work. Do people realize that the new lifestyle among the poverty class is to have four or five children WITH DIFFERENT FATHERS while barely out of one's teens?
That horrible woman, little Xstacy's mother, the one who let her boyfriend abuse the little girl, her kids had fathers living in Massachusetts. So why wasshe here in Schenectady, collecting taxpayer money, living in the Twins Motel? The little girl could've been living in a safer environment with her lazy father.
