Maybe this issue will be a dead issue, especially that now we will have 2 people who are of the law-enforcement specialty on the town board effective 1/1.  Also, could someone please let the people know (I think it's the current supervisor) that they still have signs sticking into the disgusting chain-link fence around the disgusting building at 4 corners?  I mean really, if Code Enforcement would have got off it's a$$ over the past few years, the building may have been taken care of, and there would be no reason for a fence with illegal signs sticking in it at that corner.

That has been part of the problem during this election cycle --- the code enforcement officer will NOT write a ticket or remove illegally placed signs without permission from his boss - the Coordinator of Public Works -- and the Coordinator of Public Works will not give the permission without  a directive from the Town Supervisor ................... who in this case has been the one or his supporters have been the ones who placed many of the signs illegally.

For the record ----   I hope and pray for the day when ALL political signs were abolished .... but until that day ...   if we have to live with the signs ..  PLEASE ABIDE BY THE LOCAL ORDINANCE.      There was absolutely no reason to place signs in town parks or in front of non-profits like churches  ... and ANYONE who put them up in illegal places should be ashamed of doing so.  

For the next town elections in 2013 ---- I propose --- that EVERY candidate take the money that would normally be spent on campaign signs and that money from EVERY candidate from EVERY party should be pooled together to pay for enough time on  Channel 18 for a series of  debates ------ real debates ... where each candidate is given enough time to REALLY answer the questions and explain their ideas.  

THAT would actually allow our voters to be properly educated and enable them to make responsible decisions when they cast their ballots.

command.  How many times have they gone over the Supvrs head.....I can name them....and name who has.

It is not up to the Democratic Party to take down the signs put up by Frank DelGallo and his "pool party" -- and  the FACT is that Frank Del Gallo and Bob Godlewski are culpable in their own political demise ......and I can name names and cite specifics examples, too.
