Yep been to most if not all one time or another.................btw since no body wanted to answer my question of where this "grant" money comes from I'm doing my own research.........as long as the money comes from a source other than local, state or federal agencies I have absolutely no problem with it......but not one tax dollar.........if you want a park than find the money somewhere other than my pocketbook

Yep......and although I don't see the need for another park at this time I'm taking some time today to see where those who are so hot for this can go to seek funding...........there are places out there that do fund projects without using our money.......my nephew just funded a musical performance series in Baltimore by using the Kickstarter program.....problem is it's too easy to go to government and get a hand out

Bottom line..........these are not the best of economic times to be spending taxpayer's money on non-essential programs. Can someone please remind the government!!

GOVERNMENT HAS TO GET BIGGER, IT CAN NEVER GET SMALLER. IT CAN NEVER DO WITH ANY LESS THAN IT HAS EVEN THOUGH IT EXPECTS YOU TO. IT HAS  TO DO MORE, HIRE MORE, GROW MORE, COST MORE AND TAKE ON NEW ROLES ALL THE TIME. IT NEEDS TO MAKE MORE OF THE DECISIONS, TAKE MORE OF YOUR ECONOMIC FREEDOM, LIMIT YOUR SPEECH, LIMIT YOUR ACTIONS, TAX MORE OF YOUR INCOME AND IF YOU QUESTION GOVERNMENT OR ITS WORKERS AND MILLIONS OF BUREAUCRATS, YOU ARE OBVIOUSLY AGAINST THE CHILDREN, THE FRAIL ELDERLY, HOMEOWNERS, THE DISABLED, MINORITIES, TEENS, WORKING MOTHERS, WOMEN, AT-RISK BOYS, TEEN GIRLS, IMMIGRANTS, THE DISADVANTAGED, HEALTH CARE, REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH, WOMEN'S HEALTH, WORKING FAMILIES, VETERANS, THE TROOPS, FIRST RESPONDERS, GAYS, STRAIGHTS, TRANSGENDERED, THE AUTISTIC, THE ARTS, AND WORKERS!

DUH. GET WITH IT.

Just trying to make a point..........seriously doubt anyone will take the time to do the research and follow thru......much easier to stick out your hand and ask the government..........oh, and by the way when you secure the private funding and build the park how are you proposing it get's maintained.......'cause I'll tell ya if try sticking your hand in my pocket all you're gonna get is a broken hand......peace out

Most of you just dont get it.....I give up, you keep repeating the obvious issues we experience in this bad economy and expect nothing can be done until it s fixed....my god, everyone doesn't sit around b**ch and complain and say I can't!!! You can !, look around at the other municipalities...They DO!

Excellent !!! You have said what I have been thinking all along.

Can you imagine if  our forebears had the same "we can't now - let's wait" mentality ?

Columbus never would have sailed across the ocean.    Washington, Adams, Franklin and thousands of colonists would never have stood up to King George III.     etc. etc.    Hell .. the first cavepeople would never have ventured out of the cave,
