Jon Stewart's (real name Leibowitz) brother is COO of the NY Stock Exchange. He's got a personal family interest in insuring Republican's don't make it back to the White House ... lest Wall Street be shaken up.
Pure satire - that's how he describes his show. So was he joking, or satirically promoting a run by Christie. Guess we'll never know. |

Exactly!!! Stewart runs a business....it's called the 'daily show' and he will say and do anything just to keep his business 'in business'. And he does a great job at it! But no one really knows where he 'personally' stands on the issues. He just runs a great business of 'political satire'. |

Whether I agree with him politically or not, I do find him entertaining. |

He's a comedian, and satire is his best suit... He nailed this one on the nose.
Republicans can see the present bunch of GOP hopefuls are doomed. The only way any of them can win is if Obama melts down. The last real hope of winning was with Gov Christie... and today he said (for the 100th time) NO! Many Republicans are still opting for "OTHER" in the polls. |

I love that he supports ron paul and how he pretty much knocks all the other candidates and basically all politicians. He has given Paul more air time then all the other media outlets combined!!! And it is apparent that he treats Paul with great respect as well.
Stewart has kicked political satire up a notch since it was first attempted successfully on SNL....not to forget All In The Family!!
Stewart's comic delivery is the best! |
