John McCain feels protesters' pain
“And it’s disgraceful that we took care of the financial institutions, and we did nothing about the housing crisis. So I understand their frustration.”

Wow, are you telling me useless politician is pandering to an angry mob with empty words, with another "I feel your pain" moment.

What John McCain should have said is, 'please stop me and the others in Congress and the White House from taking your money and giving out in corporate welfare, in return for campaign contributions.'  He should have said 'stop letting us sell our seats to the highest corporate bidder...And if we do vote us out.'  That would have been a courageous statement from an honest politician.

He should have said... he should have said...
No Cicero... Those are your thoughts... not his.

As a Senator, he represents a part of America that was hit hardest with home foreclosures... His constituents are suffering because     of the Bush Economic Meltdown and he acknowledges that fact.

McCain IS IN A LEADERSHIP POSITION!!!  The words he said have NO MEANING!!!  Feelings of compassion are NOT ANSWERS OR SOLUTIONS!!!  McCain was PANDERING!!!  McCain will do anything to keep his position, EXCEPT tell the people what needs to be done to correct the problem...Why?  Because correcting the problem would involve axing a bunch of corrupt Senators that are in bed with the very people these idiots "occupying wall st." are protesting.

It is irresponsible and disingenuous for Senators to feel compassion for the protesters, when they know they give BILLIONS of your tax dollars to these people, and excepted MILLIONS in campaign contributions over their political careers from these people.  McCain’s comments are just a Johnny come lately mea culpa.  Empty WORDS.

The latest Time poll finds the Occupy Wall Street movement has a 54% favorable rating.
In contrast, the TeaBaggers favorable rating is just 27%.

The Teabaggers started off that high too, 54% is actually pretty low considering they are the supposed 99%..more like 54% for now. Once the fleabaggers true support is known, that figure will drop like a stone.

Teabaggers represent the Conservative Right Wing of the Republican Party.

Occupy Wall Street represents 99% of America... even most of the useful idiot TeaBaggers.

Then tell me, why does the 99% only get 54% favorable?...sounds like they are using ObamaMath

Because the useful idiot TeaBaggers in most part, are part of the 99% of Americans, not part of the 1% richest Americans.

The very beginning of the TeaBagger movement was a rant on television against the same banks that OWS is now protesting.  On     that point, both the TeaBaggers and OWSs agree.

As the OWS movement continues and more Americans realize that OWS represents them, not Conservative Corporate America, their popularity may grow.  At present there is a concerted effort by Conservatives, and their lackies the TeaBaggers, to subvert the OWS movement.  Wall Street & the Banks are financing an opposition to OWS, hoping to limit the effectiveness of the group.  The 54% approval is not surprising.

Yes, and Ron Paul said you need to reign in the Federal Reserve's ability to capitalize banks with cheap money, for which the banks turn around and buy the politicians with the money, perpetuating the cycle of corporatism.  Crony capitalism or corporatism is the privatization of profit and the socialization of losses.  Ron Paul understands the frustration and knows WHY they are frustrated and HOW to solve the problem.  Take a look at Ron Paul's voting record; you will see him in the NO column on TARP.  How did Obama vote?

Nice spin, you should work for the DNC. I thought the OWS didn't have a list of demands? They aren't doing themselves any favors by not having a list. The press is searching out people there that will list demands, and most of them are just plain wacky...from a woman who thinks paying 10 years on a 30 year mortgage is "paying enough" to the guy who thinks $20 an hour should be the minimum wage.
The problem OWS has is, as soon as they appear to be organized, their true backers will be exposed.... Mainly entities like George Soros and the Unions (SEIU is already paying new protesters $600 a head).
This "spontaneous" movement is as spontaneous as a fart.

That's not paraphrasing, that's called cherry picking...You left out the part where Paul actually give a solution along with compassion.  He doesn't have to offer a mea culpa then call Goldman Sachs for contributions.  Ron Paul doesn't have a history of lobbyists knocking at his Congressional Office door.

The solution??? Cut Taxes.  That's it!  The one size fits all Republican solution to all problems.  No matter what the problem...  Cut   TAXES!

Oh yea... Ron's Compassionate side... I saw that in the debate when he suggested that the guy with a serious disease and no health insurance... how did Ron put it?
Just go die!
