DUhhh!  I stand by my words.

Remember when the Dixi Chicks took a stand against War Criminal George Worst Bush?
It had an impact on their CD sales. (Of course once the rest of the USA caught up with the Dixi Chicks view,
it helped their popularity)
When a public figure takes a stand, especially a stand that might be considered 'controversial'  they RISK alienating
their fans.

If you look at the clever way Miley worded her dedication(well...the way her lawyers worded the dedication).  She says "Dedicated to the thousands of people standing up for what THEY believe in."  She never says SHE believes in WHAT they believe in or their cause.  Has one reporter asked Miley if SHE supports the peoples cause against corporate America?  Of course not, they are waiting for the record sales to peak so the corporate interests that the media work for make their money.

Send her an email Cicero... the next time she can run it by you for your approval before she makes a statement.

Doesn't have to run it by me.  Hollywood Record's attorneys did a very good job releasing a dedication to protesters with no defined cause.  By the looks of it, it looks like they will sell records to people like you that thinks she supports the cause againt corporate America.  I say job well done to the corporate attorneys and marketing department for profiting off of the people that are protesting against corporations.  It's awesome!

Moore: "Wall Street Has Their Man And His Name Is Barack Obama"

MICHAEL MOORE, ON CNN: Well, "The Washington post" three weeks ago had this investigation and they said that President Obama has now raised more money from Wall Street and the banks for this election cycle than all -- than all eight Republicans combined. I don't want to say that, because if that's the truth, that Wall Street already has their man and his name is Barack Obama, then we've got a much bigger problem.

But I think President Obama, if he were here in the room, the question I would ask him is why are they your number one contributors? Why are you taking this money?

MORGAN: It's fascinating to find out why they're doing it. I'll ask him.

MOORE: What are they expecting in return in the second term from you? Right now, here's what we do know. Goldman Sachs was your number one contributor the 2008 election. And we have not seen anyone from Goldman Sachs go to jail. We have not seen the regulations, Glass/Steagall, put back on to Wall Street now three years after the crash.

Why hasn't that happened? President Obama, we the people need you to take them by the throat and say, damn it, this is the United States of America; you don't steal from the working people of this country. And this is the way it's going to be.

There are future plans from the obama administration that folks will soon NOT be able to claim their mortgage interest as a deduction.
That is what is called a 'tax increase' on the middle class!

Keep up the good work occupiers........yer really doin' good!!

President Obama Silent on MID

President Obama's January 25 State of the Union address made no mention of the mortgage interest deduction (MID). The President did express interest in pursuing reforms that would improve the competitive position of Corporate America. Those reforms would not affect the MID. While the President did reference the Deficit Commission report, he did not specifically embrace any of its recommendations. (That report recommended reducing the $1 million cap to $500,000, eliminating the MID for second homes and converting the deduction to a 12% tax credit.) Moreover, the President did not express an intent to lead a battle for individual tax reform, but rather appeared to leave the details of any individual reforms to Congress. The MID is part of the individual income tax.
