Here we go again...Comparing human life to barnyard animals and vegetables.
Box, you like your human embryos over easy or sunny side up? I like my chicken eggs sunny side up so I can dunk my toast. How about you box, you like dunking toast into the human embryo?
You may not understand this Cicero... but I call babies... BABIES. I call zygotes ZYGOTES. You can call them both babies if you want, but my buddy 'Bob the ZYGOTE' knows the truth... well he would know the truth, if he had a brain, but unlike a 'baby' he doesn't have one yet. |

Box, you deceptively show the images of the zygote, when you know in fact abortions are performed at 20 weeks. I never cracked a chicken egg that looked like a 20 week old human fetus. Box, can you scramble a 20 week human fetus into an omelet? |

This is old ground that we've covered before. Unless you have something new... I'm done. |

I didn't think you had anything new to add. If you do need a response, here is the data from the US CDC: In 2000, for women whose weeks of gestation at the time of abortion were adequately reported, 57% <8 weeks of gestation, 87% at <13 weeks (The vast majority at less than 13 weeks, not the 20+ weeks as the Rabid Right portrays) Overall: 23% <6 weeks of gestation, 18% at 7 weeks, 17% at 8 weeks Few reported abortions occurred after 15 weeks of gestation; 4.3% were at 16--20 weeks, and 1.4% were at >21 weeks. As you can see, there are very few abortions preformed at the 20 week stage. IMO, many more would be performed at the early 'zygote' stage, if the Right Wing Radicals hadn't shut down and defunded so many abortion providers. The GOP hasn't ended abortion... just made them later in the pregnancy. Unless you have anything new??? |

Week 1 & 2 - Gestational Age:
Your menstrual period has just ended, and your body is getting ready for ovulation. For most women, ovulation takes place about 11 - 21 days from the first day of the last period. During intercourse, several hundred million sperm are released in the girl private. Sperm will travel through the cervix and into the fallopian tube. If conception takes place, the sperm penetrates an egg and creates a single set of 46 chromosomes called a zygote, which is the basis for a new human being. The fertilized egg spends a couple days traveling through the fallopian tube toward the uterus, dividing into cells ; it is called a morula. The morula becomes a blastocyst and will eventually end up in the uterus. Anywhere from day 6-12 after conception, the blastocyst will imbed into the uterine lining and begin the embryonic stage. Week 3 - Gestational Age (Fetal Age - Week 1):
The embryo is going through lots of basic growth at this time, with the beginning development of the brain, spinal cord, heart, and gastrointestinal tract. Week 4 & 5 - Gestational Age (Fetal Age - Weeks 2 & 3):
Arm and leg buds are visible, but not clearly distinguishable. The heart is now beating at a steady rhythm. The placenta has begun to form and is producing some important hormones including hCG. There is movement of rudimentary blood through the main vessels. The early structures that will become the eyes and ears are forming. The embryo is ¼ inch long by the end of these weeks. Week 6 - Gestational Age (Fetal Age - Week 4):
The formation of the lungs, jaw, nose, and palate begin now. The hand and feet buds have webbed structures that will become the fingers and toes. The brain is continuing to form into its complex parts. A vaginal ultrasound could possibly detect an audible heartbeat at this time. The embryo is about a ½ inch in length.
Week 7 - Gestational Age (Fetal Age - Week 5):
At 7 weeks gestation, every essential organ has begun to form in the embryo’s tiny body even though it still weighs less than an aspirin. The hair and nipple follicles are forming, and the eyelids and tongue have begun formation. The elbows and toes are more visible as the trunk begins to straighten out. Week 8 - Gestational Age (Fetal Age - Week 6):
The ears are continuing to form externally and internally. Everything that is present in an adult human is now present in the small embryo. The bones are beginning to form, and the muscles can contract. The facial features continue to mature, and the eyelids are now more developed. The embryo is at the end of the embryonic period and begins the fetal period. The embryo is about 1 inch long and is the size of a bean. Weeks 9 thru 13 - Gestational Age (Fetal Age - Weeks 7 thru 11):
Fetal development in the first trimester. The fetus has grown to about 3 inches in length and weighs about an ounce. The genitalia have clearly formed into male or female, but still could not be seen clearly on an ultrasound. The eyelids close and will not reopen until the 28th week of pregnancy. The fetus can make a fist, and the buds for baby teeth appear. The head is nearly half the size of the entire fetus.

So, at week 4, when there's a heartbeat, it's ok to terminate, according to Tom (aka Box-a-murderer) .. |

Yes, the rabid right...Take a look, do these pictures look like the 2 eggs over easy you had for breakfast this morning? One is an 8 week fetus(top), the other a 13 week fetus(bottom). Clearly not the picture Box likes to portray as a 'clump of cells'. Whose the rabid ones?
57% <8 weeks of gestation,
87% at <13 weeks (The vast majority at less than 13 weeks, not the 20+ weeks as the Rabid Right portrays)

If it's a baby, then deliver it. NO? Why not??? At 8 weeks, your 'baby' is not formed... the shell is there, but brain, lungs, kidney etc are yet to develop. In other words... it may become a human being, but as yet it's a mass of human tissue... but not a human being.
Again... we've covered this ground before... any thing new to add? If not, I'm done.

Week 6 :
The formation of the lungs, jaw, nose, and palate begin now. The hand and feet buds have webbed structures that will become the fingers and toes.
Webbed structures??? Human web feet and hands??? The zygote also has gills at one stage of development, but Ummm Humans don't have gills. They also go through hoof stage and resemble a tadpole more than a human at other stages. Lungs etc BEGIN... they will continue for the next 7 months until they are a FULLY FORMED HUMAN BEING. As I posted... this is getting tiresome. We've posted this at least 3 times before. Is there anything new??? |

Again... we've covered this ground before... any thing new to add? If not, I'm done.
I just posted the 8 week and 13 week pitures to exhibit what you call a 'mass of tissue' and have NO PROBLEM terminating. I'm never going to change your mind, you're never going to change my mind. But those who may be following this thread can decide for themselves who is 'rabid' - the person that compares a 8 or 13 week fetus to a chicken egg, or a person that looks at a 8 or 13 week old fetus as a human life. |

Unborn babies??? Really? When Cicero eats eggs for breakfast, he's really eating chicken. (we all know it isn't chicken, but Cicero doesn't) Then for lunch he slices up a tomato seed adds some lettuce seeds, and throws in a few cucumber seeds some water and soil and he has a salad. For dinner he eats boar sperm mixed with some sow eggs, and calls it ham. MMM! (Cicero loves his 'ham') He walks on his sand, stone, mortar and water sidewalk. And drives on his stone and wet tar road, to get to his pile of bricks, sand, stone & mortar workplace. And a zygote is a baby! YUP! The baby in the pic below is named Bob!
This baby already has it's individual DNA. A DNA that is unlike anyone else. A DNA that is not like it's mother/vessel. Again.........attacking the core of human civilization by attacking the most innocent and vulnerable is an abomination. |

I'm going to assume all here are men.....unless you carry fetus in your testicles....beat feet.....not a one of us knows.....I didn't develope/create DNA.....anyone here? anyone? Buehler?....
and guess what else.....sometimes the zygote/baby spontaneously aborts....no directions for that
and guess what else...I bet sometimes the baby mama/mother/girl/sweetheart/broad/dolly or what ever ya'll want to call the person with the baby/zygote in her wishes the sperm that ejaculated had a brain....
or...maybe she had her head and made her choice..... |
