Exactly. Very heavy stuff. Powell ended up as more of a Heavy metal drummer for years after playing with Everyone from Whitesnake to Robert Plant, Rainbow, Black Sabbath, Keith Emerson, Thin Lizzy, but he did some serious fusion solo fusion records in between bands and session work. Of course the first few Beck albums bordered on Zepplinesq kind of metal. And that song "Going Down" is pretty awesome! One of my fav albums from the Loner.
That line up made 2 records:
Rough and Ready and The Jeff Beck Group
"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."
However when you listen to 'Truth', it does blow you away.

This one is a good one- it has David Gilmour, and one of the best drummers alive- Simon Phillips (been with Toto for a few years now) I think it dates backs 25 years or so!!!!! Enjoy.

I like songs with no instruments too .......the group is The Mint Juleps, and everytime I listen to this I fall head over heels in love with the lead singer. Her voice, phrasing, and movement give me chill bumps.
How amazing is he- only last year he won a Grammy for Best Rock Instrumental- while most of his peers are now playing in a lounge in some indian casino
and you probably know he is an American hot rod freak
One Legend to Another: Jeff Beck Honors Les Paul Feb 21, 2011 – 9:10 AM Text Size
Chris Epting Contributor "I was 6 years old when I first heard him on the radio, and I was stunned, fascinated by the sound, that strange slap-echo."
Guitar legend Jeff Beck recently recalled when he first fell under the spell of another legendary player, Les Paul.
"My mum said, 'I've heard of this chap.' She knew I was mesmerized by the sound of that guitar, and then she told me, 'I wouldn't get too excited by that, it's deception with electronic mirrors, it's all tricks.' I said, Great, fantastic! To a kid of 6, you want to hear tricks, don't you? I mean, what could have been more interesting?"
